Please approve the travel consent order

Disciple of Prayer
Father God, please have the judge approve the travel consent order so my kids can travel with me this December. Or move the ex-husband's heart to allow my kids to go with me for the ### days. Thank you.

We join with you in bringing this request before our Father, asking for His will to be done regarding this travel consent order and your desire to have your children with you in December.

We are reminded that God is sovereign over all authorities and over every heart. Proverbs 21:1 says The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. And Romans 13:1 reminds us Let every person be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. We take comfort that the judge's decision and even your ex-husband's heart are not outside of God's care and power. We also remember that children are precious to Him, for Psalm 127:3 says Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. He loves your children even more than you do and desires what is good for them.

We pray together for you now.

Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother and her children to Your throne of grace. We ask that You grant wisdom and discernment to the judge who will consider this travel consent order, that he would judge with fairness, clarity, and insight. We ask that You soften and move the heart of her ex-husband, where it aligns with Your good purpose, to allow this time together for the days she has requested in December. Lord, we pray for peace between these co-parents, that even in the midst of disagreement, they may act with respect and with the best interests of the children at heart. We pray for the children, for their safety, their joy, and their security in Your love. Above all, let Your will be done, and grant this mother Your peace as she waits. We ask that You provide the outcome that will most glorify You and be best for this family. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We want to gently encourage you about something we noticed in your request. You addressed Father God, which shows your faith, and we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. When we pray in Jesus' name, we are coming by the one mediator who shed His blood to reconcile us to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for through Him we have forgiveness and eternal life and confident access to God in prayer.

We also encourage you to continue to cast your cares on Him while you wait, as Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Whether the order is approved or not, we know that Romans 8:28 is true, that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Continue to honor the court process, to show grace and respect in your communication with your ex-husband, and to trust the Lord's perfect timing and provision for you and your children this December. We are standing with you in prayer for God's favor, peace, and guidance.

We can hear how important this time with your kids in December is to you, and how heavy it feels to wait on a judge's decision and on your ex-husband's response. Wanting to make good memories with your children while also navigating co-parenting after divorce is a lot to carry.

We are praying with you for peace in this waiting period and for wisdom for everyone involved. These kinds of consent decisions can be slow and emotionally draining, and it helps to stay as clear and steady as you can through the process.

If it is helpful, we encourage you to stay in close contact with your attorney about timelines and what the court needs from you, so nothing is left incomplete as December approaches. Keeping communication with your ex-husband calm, brief, and child-focused, and in writing where possible, can also help keep the focus on the children's well-being and reduce extra strain.

Father, we lift this mother and her children to You. We ask for Your peace over her heart as she waits, for wisdom for the judge who will review this order, and for grace in the co-parenting relationship. Guide every step toward what is truly best for these children and provide for what they need in the months ahead. We trust this to You in Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden concerning the travel consent order for your children this December has been brought before the Lord and we join you in prayer at the throne of grace.

There is a way that is never stopped up, even when earthly roads are blocked, and that is the King's highway upward to the throne. We have taken that road on your behalf, lifting up your heart and the hearts of your children to our God who hears prayer.

We ask our heavenly Father to give wisdom to the judge who sits in the lower court, that he may act with justice and with a true regard for the welfare of these little ones. We remember that the tribunal of conscience and the courts of men are not the supreme court, for God is greater than our heart and knows all things, and shall not the Judge of all the earth do right. We pray that whatever verdict is given on earth may be overruled for good by Him who presides in the High Court of Heaven.

We pray also for the father of your children, that the Lord would soften and guide his heart toward what is right and peaceable and for the true good of your children. Where there has been division and sorrow, we pray that the God of peace, who has prepared everything necessary for perfect reconciliation through Jesus Christ, would work by His Spirit to bring forth forbearance, kindness, and a spirit of reconciliation where it is possible.

We acknowledge before the Lord that marriage was ordained by God as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and when that covenant is broken there is deep wounding that only His grace can heal. Our hope is not in any earthly order or consent, but in the full discharge which Christ has secured for all who trust in Him alone for salvation, who pleads for us in the High Court above that no charge may stand against God's elect. If you have not already done so, cast yourself wholly upon Christ who died and rose again, for He alone reconciles us to God, not imputing our trespasses unto us.

We do not ask God to simply grant our desires apart from His will, but to show you His favor and to do what is best for your children and for your souls. May He guard your steps, keep you from stumbling, and cause you to walk with careful and steady progress in uprightness before Him. May He grant you trust in His providence, whether the answer be according to your request or otherwise, knowing that when He turns in grace toward His people He comes with all His heart to display His love toward the objects of His choice.

We pray that the Lord will provide for your traveling needs on His way, keep your children in His care, and give you peace that passes understanding as you wait upon Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, grant wisdom to the earthly judge, move hearts toward peace and righteousness, protect these children, and let Thy perfect will be done, for Thy glory and for the good of this family. Amen.
