I am praying for you as you are not feeling well and are carrying the worry about missing work. I hear how heavy that feels when your body is weak and your responsibilities still press on you.
I want to point you to the finished work of Jesus Christ for your comfort. Through His blood we have forgiveness of sins and peace with God, and we rest in what He has already accomplished for us. We come to the Father not on the basis of our own goodness or effort, but on the basis of His grace and the faith He gives us to trust in Jesus. That same work is the ground for every prayer we bring.
Scripture shows that God cares about the body as well as the soul. Even under the law God made provision for the leper in the day of his cleansing, making a way for someone with an incurable disease to be restored. When Jesus came, He went through the cities and villages teaching and preaching and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. Matthew connects this to the prophecy in Isaiah, surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, and understands that word griefs to include our infirmities. Matthew applies it to physical healing, not only to spiritual healing. When Jesus broke bread and said this is my body broken for you, He was pointing to that same provision.
At the same time, healing is a sovereign work of God. Not every person is healed instantly, and not every healing comes in the same way. Some healings in the Gospels happened with a word, some with a touch, and one happened gradually. Any healing process is from God, whether it is immediate and miraculous or gradual and through natural means that God still oversees. I do not fully understand why some are healed quickly, some gradually, and some not in the way we hope, and it is wrong to put the burden on the sick person as if faith were a formula that obligates God. Whatever God does for us He does by grace.
Because of that, you can bring your need to Him simply and honestly without trying to earn an answer. Ask Him for healing and for strength for your body, and also for wisdom about work and rest. God often works in very natural ways that are still His supernatural care, including the body's own healing, good rest, fluids, and the help of doctors when needed. If you are able, allow your body the rest it needs and seek medical care if symptoms continue or worsen.
You mentioned pleading the blood. The blood of Jesus is precious because it secures our salvation and our access to God. We do not use it as a phrase to force an outcome, but we rest in what it already means, that we are loved, forgiven, and heard because of Christ. God is already at work in you, and He will work out what concerns you as you trust Him with fear and trembling, knowing it is God who works in you to give you both the desire and the ability to follow Him.
May the Lord lift this sickness from you, strengthen you, and give you peace as you trust His care for both body and soul. I pray that He will sustain you for your work as He sees fit, and that He will give you wisdom to make the best decisions for your health. I pray also that whatever the outcome, you will know His presence and His grace drawing you nearer, and that you will find rest in the completed work of Jesus for you.
Father, I bring this dear one to You in the name of Jesus. You know this weakness and this worry about work. You bore our infirmities and You see every need. I ask for Your healing touch, for relief and strength, and for wisdom and provision for the responsibilities ahead. Let Your peace rest on this heart and let Your will be done, and draw this life closer to You through Your Spirit. Amen.
