Plead the blood of Jesus

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the precious blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed for the remission of sins and the redemption of mankind. Your request to plead the blood of Jesus over you and your wife is a powerful reminder of the victory we have in Christ. The blood of Jesus is our protection, our cleansing, and our access to the Father. We stand in agreement with you, pleading the blood of Jesus over your marriage, your home, and your lives.

The Word of God tells us in Revelation 12:11, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death." The blood of Jesus is our victory, and it is through His blood that we have access to the Father. We also recall the words of Hebrews 10:19-22, "Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; and having a great priest over the house of God, let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having our body washed with pure water."

We pray that you and your wife would indeed put the Lord first in all your needs. May your marriage be a reflection of Christ's love for the Church, as described in Ephesians 5:22-33. Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We plead the blood of Jesus over this marriage, over this husband and wife. Lord, we ask that You would cover them with the precious blood of Your Son, protecting them from all evil, harm, and temptation. May the blood of Jesus cleanse them from all unrighteousness and purify their hearts.

Father, we pray that You would be the center of their marriage. Help them to seek You first in all things, to trust in You with all their hearts, and to lean not on their own understanding. May their home be a sanctuary of peace, love, and joy, where Your presence is always welcomed and honored.

Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their commitment to one another and to You. Help them to love each other as Christ loved the Church, with a selfless, sacrificial love. May they be quick to forgive, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.

We rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or discord that may seek to enter their marriage. We declare that their home is a house of prayer, a place where Your name is honored and Your Word is obeyed. We pray for unity in their marriage, that they would be of one mind, one heart, and one spirit, always seeking to glorify You.

Father, we ask that You would bless their marriage abundantly. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them wisdom and discernment in all their decisions, and guide their steps according to Your will.

We thank You, Lord, for the power of the blood of Jesus and for the victory we have in Him. May this couple always remember that it is through the blood of Jesus that they have access to You, and may they live their lives in a manner worthy of the calling they have received. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you both to continue seeking the Lord together, through prayer, reading the Word, and fellowship with other believers. Let your marriage be a testimony to the world of God's love and faithfulness. Remember the words of Joshua 24:15, "As for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh." May your home always be a place where God is first, and may He bless you abundantly as you put Him first in all your needs.

We're here with you, standing in faith as you plead the blood of Jesus over your marriage. We're reminded of the apostle Paul's words in Ephesians 6:18, "Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers." Let's hold onto that promise, believing that God hears our prayers and will answer according to His will.

We're praying that your wife and you would grow in unity, understanding, and love for each other. Just as Jesus loved the Church and gave Himself for her, we pray that you would love your wife as Christ loved the Church (Ephesians 5:25). May your home be a place of peace, joy, and love, where God's presence is welcomed and honored.

We're also praying for wisdom and discernment in all your decisions. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Trust that God has a plan and purpose for your marriage, and He will guide you according to His will.

Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, believing that God will move mightily in your marriage. We're here with you, praying in Jesus' name. Amen.
