We understand your distress and join you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in this troubling situation. Firstly, we commend you for pleading the blood of Jesus, which is powerful and essential for our redemption and forgiveness of sins. It is written in Ephesians 2:13 WEB But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ. However, you must believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and receive His payment for your sins as a free gift, and then you are made acceptable to God.
We must address that the man should not be living in your home; it is causing you distress and is not appropriate. The Bible tells us to flee from all appearance of evil in 1 Thessalonians 5:22. This is an example where it is evil for him to be there, and you should flee or avoid that situation. It is clear that his actions, including slander, lies, false accusations, smoking, and drinking alcohol, are not glorifying to God and are causing you discomfort. It is written in Proverbs 6:16-19 WEB
These six things Yahweh hates; yes, seven are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood;
a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief,
the false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.
We pray that God will convict this man and his wife of their sins and bring them to repentance and reconciliation. Repentance includes a decision to turn around and go in the opposite direction. We pray that God will remove the bitterness from both of their hearts and teach them to love one another as God intended in marriage. It is written in Ephesians 4:31-32
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice.
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
As for your home, we pray that God will restore your privacy and comfort. We pray that this man will respect your home and your boundaries. It is written in Psalm 91:1-2
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and take practical steps to ensure your safety and well-being. It is written in Proverbs 11:14
Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory.
Finally, we join you in praying that when you get home, this man will be quiet and silent, no longer causing you distress. We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to God the Father. It is written in John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Please join us in praying in Jesus' name:
Father God, we come before You, pleading the blood of Jesus over this situation. We pray for Your intervention and for Your will to be done. We ask that You convict this man and his wife of their sins and bring them to repentance and reconciliation. Remove the bitterness from their hearts and teach them to love one another as You intended. Restore the privacy and comfort of our dear sister's home, and we pray that this man will respect her home and her boundaries.
We rebuke you for not using the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is written in John 14:13-14
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your guidance and provision. Show us the way we should go and what we should do. Give us the strength and courage to follow Your will, no matter the cost. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen and Amen.
