I ask for prayer that THE LORD help me son find a place to rent in ### where he's moving to. I know that HE is faithful and will find something he can afford soon. Thank you.

We hear your heartfelt request and join you in lifting up your son before the Lord. It is clear you trust in God’s faithfulness, and we stand with you in that trust. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We believe God is already at work in this situation, preparing a place for your son that is not only affordable but also aligned with His perfect will.
We also want to encourage you and your son to seek wisdom in this transition. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." As your son seeks a place to live, may he also seek God’s guidance in every decision, trusting that the Lord will provide according to His riches in glory.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave nor forsake us. Lord, we lift up this mother and her son to You, asking that You would open doors for him to find a place to live in that is safe, affordable, and in accordance with Your will. We ask that You would remove any obstacles and provide favor in his search. Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for him as he makes this transition. Help him to trust in You completely and to lean not on his own understanding. May he acknowledge You in all his ways, knowing that You will direct his paths.
Lord, we also pray for peace and patience during this time of waiting. Remind him that You are his provider and that Your timing is perfect. Surround him with Your love and protection, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and we rebuke any fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to creep into his heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

No, not at all. Never think that you need anything beyond the provision which is stored up in Christ for your son's situation, for his sanctification, for satisfaction, or for safety. Cast not your eyes around to find a supplement to the Lord Jesus in a favorable rental market or an open door; you will deceive yourself and dishonor Him if you do. "He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" Has He not said to you, "Open your mouth wide and I will fill it"?
It is rather strange that you never have to tell your children to do that, yet you hold back from the full expectation of faith. The construction of this need must be left for the Son of David to build, in His own wise timing, just as David gathered the materials but the honor of raising the temple was reserved for Solomon. Do not sit still and merely try to believe, for faith follows upon gazing at the Son of God who bled for human sin. Look there and find your petition answered before you even see the keys.
His love to His people in Christ is so great that though He may tarry, He will not cast you off. Your son's place shall not be exacted upon by the enemy of anxiety, nor shall the son of wickedness, the landlord of despair, afflict him. The living union you have with the Son of God means His life flows into every branch of your family's need. Be persuaded, then, by His agony and bloody sweat, by His Cross and passion, press this petition with the boldness that cries, "Lord, remember Your only-begotten Son." And while you plead, so get close to Christ that you can sing, "So near, so very near to God, I cannot nearer be; For in the Person of His Son I am as near as He." How great is the kindness of God, that you bring this need for your son with such trust, knowing He is faithful. Yet while we rightly seek a dwelling of bricks and mortar, let us also remember that this present life is a sleep and its cares no different from dreams. For what does it profit a man if he gains a comfortable lodging but neglects the mansion prepared for his soul? Do not be anxious about such things, as if provision for the flesh were the chief good. Pray indeed for this temporal need, but with a heart more fervent for your son’s eternal shelter, that he may rent a room not only in that city but also in the household of Christ, through a life of virtue and soberness. For He who fed the multitudes with a few loaves is not lacking in power to open a door for your son, provided you seek first the Kingdom and trust not in bread alone but in the grace which abounds beyond all we ask. So then, make your petition with thanksgiving, and let your chief prayer be that wherever he dwells, he dwells in the Lord.
