Father God, I feel physically and emotionally exhausted. Please surround me with your presence and fill me with your peace. Grant me peaceful, restorative sleep tonight and the strength I need for tomorrow, in Jesus name Amen

We hear your cry of exhaustion and we join with you in bringing it before our Father in Jesus' name, and we are thankful you have come to Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the throne of grace.

We understand how heavy it feels when both body and spirit are weary, and our Lord understands it too. He invites us to come to Him just as we are. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And in Psalm 61:2 we pray, When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. He does not ask you to find strength within yourself, for He promises in Isaiah 40:29, He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.

We also take comfort that God Himself ordains rest for His children. Psalm 127:2 reminds us that he gives sleep to his loved ones, and we know His peace is able to guard us even when our minds are troubled, as Philippians 4:7 tells us, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We encourage you to cast every worry upon Him tonight, for 1 Peter 5:7 says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

Let us pray together.

Father God, we lift up this weary one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the physical tiredness and the emotional burden that feels so heavy right now. We ask that You surround them with Your presence tonight, that they would tangibly feel Your nearness and Your love. Forgive us when we try to carry burdens You never intended us to carry alone, and teach us to rest in You. We ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Grant them peaceful, deep and restorative sleep tonight, renewing their body and restoring their soul. Lay Your healing hand upon them and quiet every anxious thought. Give them new strength for tomorrow, strength not of their own but from Your Spirit, so they may walk in Your grace one day at a time. Help them to remember that Your mercies are new every morning and that Your strength is made perfect in weakness. We trust You to carry them through this season of exhaustion and to lead them beside still waters. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We read your prayer and hear how heavy this exhaustion feels, both in your body and your heart. Wanting simply to be surrounded by God's presence and to sleep peacefully tonight is such an honest and human prayer, and we are honored to lift it with you.

When we are this tired everything feels harder. Our emotions, our thoughts, even our sense of closeness to God can feel dulled. You do not have to push through this in your own strength tonight. It helps to remember that rest is not an afterthought in how God made us. He designed us to need sleep, and He meets us in that need with care, not disappointment that we are tired.

Tonight we pray you can give yourself permission to lay down what can wait until tomorrow and let others help where they can. If this deep exhaustion continues, please consider letting a trusted person know, and reaching out to your doctor or pastor alongside prayer, so you are not carrying this alone. We are continuing to hold you in prayer for that quiet peace and renewed strength you asked for.

Father, we bring our friend to You tonight in Jesus name. Surround them with Your nearness and quiet their heart and mind. Grant them peaceful, restorative sleep and wake them with strength for tomorrow. Hold them in Your peace tonight. Amen.

Your weariness is not hidden from the Lord who formed your frame and knows that you are dust. He sees when physical strength spends itself and when the spirit is faint, and it is His way to give power to the faint and to them that have no might to increase strength.

There is a peace that is not of this world, a perfect peace for those whose mind is stayed upon Him because they trust in Him. It is peace through the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within, peace even when duties press and sorrows surge around. When you stay your thoughts upon Christ and His finished work, He will keep you in that peace which is itself a blessing, for the Lord will give strength unto His people and the Lord will bless His people with peace.

And He is the giver of sleep to His own. So He giveth His beloved sleep, not the restless sleep of the world but the sleep of contentment and security that belongs to a quiet conscience at peace with God through Jesus Christ. You may lie down in His keeping, for whether waking or sleeping you are safe in Jesus.

For tomorrow, your strength shall be renewed not by your own resolve but by waiting upon the Lord. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When there remains no strength in you, fling yourself upon the Divine strength which God Himself promises to impart. He will strengthen you and cause you to walk up and down in His name.

Let us pray together. Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, look upon this weary one. Surround this child with Your presence and let Your perfect peace guard heart and mind. Grant tonight peaceful and restorative sleep as You give to Your beloved, and renew strength for tomorrow, that waking may be with fresh power to do Your will and to trust Your grace. Keep the mind stayed upon You through the night and into the morning. Amen.
