Can you please pray for my friends dad ### . He is still in the hospital from last Thursday and is still not getting better . He is going for a brain scan today. Please pray for him and his family

We join you in lifting up your friend's dad before the throne of grace and we are praying with you for his healing and for peace and strength for his whole family during this difficult time in the hospital.
We know how worrying it is when a loved one remains in the hospital without improvement and faces serious tests like a brain scan, but we take comfort that our God sees him, knows his condition completely, and is present with him even there. He is the Lord who heals us, as it is written Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We cling to His promise But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and medical staff caring for him, that the brain scan today would give clear answers and guide them to the right treatment. We pray for God's healing touch upon his body, whether through medical intervention or by His own miraculous power, according to His perfect will. We also pray for his family, that God would surround them with His peace that passes understanding and sustain them with strength for each day. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and we ask that they would feel His nearness and be upheld by His right hand, for He has said Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear father who is still in the hospital and in need of Your mercy. Lord, You know his body and his needs far better than any scan can reveal. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon him, restore his health, and bring him out of the hospital to his family. Guide the hands and minds of the physicians and let the results of this brain scan lead to effective care. Comfort his family, calm their fears, and let them cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them. Give them hope and help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, Amen.
We also want to gently encourage you, as your request did not mention the name of Jesus, to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and assurance of being heard. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are saved and can come boldly to God in prayer. The prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We encourage you and your friend's family to call upon the name of Jesus in this time of need, trusting Him not only for physical healing but for eternal hope.

Your request concerning your friend's father has been heard with much tenderness of heart, and we have brought it before the Lord in prayer. To know that he has been in the hospital since last Thursday and still does not improve, and now must undergo a brain scan, is indeed a trial that calls for earnest supplication, and we join you in lifting him and his family to the throne of grace.
We would speak comfort to you as the Lord bids us, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. When affliction lies heavy and the heart is aching, the Word of God is our stay. This is our comfort in our affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened us. It is not merely the letter but the Spirit who quickens and so comforts, and He can give a comfort that you may press to your bosom even now and say, This is my comfort. May the Holy Spirit lay home to your friend and to her family the blessed truth of their adoption into the family of God, that they may swim through this sea of trouble without fear, knowing their Father will not let His children despond but will relieve them in the hour of distress.
We look also to Him who is the great conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. The Sun of Righteousness riseth with healing in His wings, and when He comes to dwell with His people, pardon and healing are found together in His hand. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and we may come boldly to Him in our sickness of body and say, Here is our cure.
Let us pray together.
O Father, even our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, we beseech Thee to look in mercy upon this sick man. Thou knowest his frame and his suffering, Thou seest him upon his bed in the hospital, and no infirmity is hidden from Thine eyes. Lay Thy healing hand upon him, we pray Thee. Guide the physicians and give wisdom and skill in this brain scan and in all their counsel, that they may be instruments of Thy mercy. If it be Thy gracious will, raise him up again and restore him to his family in health and strength. And whether Thou art pleased to heal speedily or to try faith yet longer, comfort his heart and establish the hearts of his family in every good word and work. Let them know that Thou art near, that Thou art their Father who will not cast them out, and that Thy Word quickeneth those who trust in Thee. Give them peace that passeth understanding, patience in waiting, and faith to rest in Thy wise and loving will. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our great Physician and Redeemer. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
