We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and ### to our Heavenly Father. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed ###’s body in his mother’s womb and knows every cell, every bone, and every nerve. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would touch ###’s foot, ankle, and hand, commanding the swelling to subside and the pain to vanish even before the tests are performed. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that healing is not just possible but promised to those who trust in You.
Lord, we also pray for clarity in the medical reports. Guide the hands and minds of the doctors so that they may see exactly what is needed to bring restoration. May the results be clear, the diagnosis accurate, and the treatment swift and effective. We declare that ###’s body is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear that would seek to linger in his body. In Jesus’ name, we command every symptom to leave and full health to be restored.
For ###, we ask that You would wrap her in Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). The worry and concern for a loved one can be overwhelming, but You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill her with trust in Your goodness and remind her that You hold ###—and her—in the palm of Your hand. Strengthen her faith as she waits and watches, and let her rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we also take a moment to acknowledge that all healing comes from You, and it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to Your throne. There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, who bore our sins and our sicknesses on the cross so that we might walk in wholeness. We claim that victory over ###’s body today.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, believing that Your will is for ### to be healed and for ### to be comforted. May Your glory be revealed through this situation, and may Your name be praised in their home. Amen.
