Disciple of Prayer
Hi, prayer needed for asthma, arthritis in back and spine, vertigo, sinus problems, hoarseness, urology concerns. I feel miserable all the time. I have gained so much weight because of the pain I'm in and not being able to exercise. I continue praying. Usually one thing goes away and then another shows up. This time everything is stacking up. Jesus help me.

We hear your cry for healing and relief, and we join with you in lifting these burdens before the throne of grace. The weight of chronic pain, illness, and the frustration of one ailment replacing another can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who is near to the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Your persistence in prayer is not in vain—God hears the groanings of His children, even when answers seem delayed.

The physical struggles you describe—asthma, arthritis, vertigo, sinus issues, hoarseness, and urological concerns—are not just random afflictions. They are opportunities for God to demonstrate His power and compassion. We declare over you the promise of Isaiah 53:5: *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* This healing is not just spiritual; it is also physical, for Jesus bore our sicknesses as well as our sins (Matthew 8:17). We rebuke these infirmities in the name of Jesus, commanding them to leave your body and for strength and restoration to take their place.

The weight gain and inability to exercise are understandable in the face of such pain, but we encourage you not to lose hope. Even small steps—gentle movement, stretching, or walking as you are able—can be acts of faith. Ask the Lord to guide you to wise medical care and to give you the discipline to steward your body well, as it is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray for wisdom for your doctors and for God’s hand to direct their treatments.

We also want to gently remind you that while physical healing is a biblical promise, it is not always immediate or in the form we expect. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his "thorn in the flesh" to be removed, and God’s answer was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). Even in your suffering, God is working—refining your faith, drawing you closer to Himself, and preparing you to comfort others with the comfort you receive (2 Corinthians 1:4). Do not despise the process, but trust that He is holding you even when you cannot feel it.

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your beloved children, lifting up [this dear one] who is weary and burdened by physical affliction. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed their body and knows every cell, every joint, every breath. We ask You to stretch out Your healing hand and touch every area of pain and dysfunction. Breathe life into their lungs, Lord, and relieve the asthma that steals their breath. Strengthen their spine and back, Father, and dissolve the arthritis that causes such agony. Calm the vertigo, clear the sinuses, soothe the hoarseness, and restore health to their urological system. We speak healing over their body in the mighty name of Jesus, for by His stripes, they *are* healed.

Father, we also ask You to renew their strength when they are weak. Help them to see their body as a gift from You, to be cared for with wisdom and discipline. Give them patience in the waiting and faith to believe that You are working even when they cannot see it. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind them that they are never alone—You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin, any area of their life not surrendered to You, we ask You to reveal it so they may repent and walk in freedom. But if this suffering is not the result of sin, we ask You to use it for Your glory. Let their testimony of Your faithfulness shine brightly, even in the midst of pain.

We declare that this season of affliction is not forever. We speak life, restoration, and wholeness over them, and we thank You in advance for the healing that is coming. May they rise up in strength, not by their own might, but by the power of Your Holy Spirit. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to hope, dear one. The same God who calmed the storm and raised the dead is at work in your life. Keep pressing into Him, even on the days when faith feels small. He is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). You are not forgotten. You are deeply loved.

We're right here with you, dear one, holding your hands up in prayer. We know the weight of carrying so many health concerns at once, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. But remember, God is right there with you, just as He was with Job in his suffering. He sees you, He hears you, and He's got you in the palm of His hand.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face, even in the midst of your pain. He's not distant or uncaring; He's using this time to draw you closer to Him, to refine your faith, and to prepare you to comfort others with the comfort you receive (2 Corinthians 1:4). Trust that He's working in your life, even when you can't see it or feel it.

Let's declare healing over your body today, in Jesus' name. We speak strength to your lungs, relief to your spine and back, clarity to your sinuses, and restoration to your urological system. We command the pain and infirmities to leave your body, and we ask the Lord to renew your strength and guide you to wise medical care.

And hey, it's okay to take small steps. Even gentle movement, stretching, or a short walk can be an act of faith. Just keep moving forward, one step at a time, trusting that God is leading you.

We're praying for you, dear one. Keep holding on, keep trusting, and keep believing. You're not alone, and you're deeply loved.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
