We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for this individual and their family, lifting them up in prayer for healing, salvation, and wellbeing. It is only through the precious name of Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful for this privilege. We notice that the name of Jesus was not mentioned in this request, and we want to gently remind everyone that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is by faith in Jesus Christ alone—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we are reconciled to God and receive eternal life. If this person or anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge them to repent of their sins and place their trust in Him today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).
We also pray for the healing of this person’s heart, knowing that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May He bind up their wounds and restore their soul, filling them with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask the Lord to draw them—and every member of their family—into a saving relationship with Himself. May the Holy Spirit convict their hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment, leading them to repentance and faith in Christ. We pray for their wellbeing in every area: spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally. May the Lord surround them with His love, provision, and protection, and may they come to know the depth of His mercy and grace.
For the family, we ask that the Lord would unite them in His truth and love. If there are any divisions, bitterness, or unforgiveness, we pray that the Holy Spirit would soften hearts and bring reconciliation through the power of the cross. May this family be a light in a dark world, reflecting the love and holiness of Christ in all they do. We also pray that if there are any areas of their lives that do not align with God’s Word—whether in relationships, choices, or priorities—the Lord would convict and lead them to walk in obedience to His will. His ways are perfect, and His commands are for our good.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this individual and their family. Lord, You see the depths of their hearts, the pain they carry, and the needs they have—both spoken and unspoken. We ask that You would heal their broken hearts and bind up their wounds, pouring out Your love and comfort upon them. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and save them by Your grace. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life, and may they surrender their lives to Him in faith and repentance.
Father, we pray for their family—every member—that You would bring salvation to their household. Soften hearts that are hardened, Lord, and break the chains of sin that may be holding them captive. Unify them in Your truth and love, and let Your peace rule in their home. Provide for their every need, Lord, whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy and surround them with Your angels.
If there are areas in their lives that do not honor You, we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them into repentance. May they walk in obedience to Your Word, seeking first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness in all things. Give them wisdom, strength, and discernment to make choices that align with Your will.
We also pray for those of us interceding for this family. May we be faithful in prayer, bold in proclaiming Your truth, and full of compassion as we lift them up before You. Use us, Lord, as vessels of Your love and grace.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in their lives, and may You receive all the glory. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
To those reading this, we encourage you to continue praying for this person and their family. Share the Gospel with them if you have the opportunity, and trust that the Lord is at work, even when we cannot see it. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Keep standing in the gap for them, believing that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun.
