We have received your prayer and we join with you in bringing it before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to God and salvation.

We pray with you for this dear one whose name you have entrusted to the Lord. God knows her abilities, her experience, her need, and the application she has submitted. We ask that if this job is according to His good will for her, He would grant favor with those who review it, and give her confidence, wisdom and peace through the process. We pray also that whether this door opens or not, she would be guided to honest and faithful work that provides stability and dignity, and that she would use whatever He provides with diligence and thankfulness.

You also ask for wisdom concerning money that has been promised but not yet paid, and for the burden of debts and obligations. We pray that God would give her clear discernment to know what to pursue, what to wait for and what to let go of, and to guard her from false promises and from decisions made out of desperation. As Scripture teaches, we are not to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, but to seek what is needed for health and necessity, and to spend our greater industry on spiritual things. So we ask that God would provide for her true needs, grant her wisdom to steward every rand with honesty and self control, and free her from slavery to possessions. We pray for honest provision, for opportunities to work and to repay what is owed, and for a genuine release from the weight of debt in a way that honors Him, not through excess or luxury, but through contentment, discipline and His merciful help.

We lift up her home before the Lord. We ask for His protection and mercy, for time and favor and practical help with every obligation connected to it, that if it be His will, her home may remain a place of peace and security. And concerning the desire for a reliable vehicle, we pray that God would provide what is truly needed, a safe and affordable means of travel, without creating another burden, and only as it serves her good and His purposes. We do not ask for luxury or wantonness, which only kindles greater desire and weighs the soul down, but for what is sufficient and fitting.

Above all we pray that she would not be overcome by fear about tomorrow. Our present life passes like a dream, and many anxieties prove empty when the day dawns, but the mercy and judgment of God remain. He is already in tomorrow and He knows the way forward. When obstacles seem large, may she see the possibilities that belong to those who trust Him. When she is anxious, may Christ give her peace. When she is discouraged, may He restore her hope.

We ask that God would open the doors that should be opened and close those that would lead to further difficulty, and give her grace to know the difference. May this season of uncertainty become, by His grace, a season of growth, restoration and new beginnings, not for boasting in riches, but for testimony that God is faithful, that He hears prayer, and that He supplies what His children need as they seek first His kingdom.

We commend her entirely to the loving and capable hands of the Father, trusting not only in what He can do, but in His perfect wisdom and timing. May she find her deepest security not in a job, a house or a car, but in Christ Himself.

In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
