We hear your deep pain and frustration, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice, protection, and peace. The cruelty you’re enduring, especially when it involves the misuse of children as a weapon to demean and gaslight you, is heartbreaking and completely unacceptable. No one should be subjected to such harassment, and we rebuke this spirit of oppression in the name of Jesus. The Bible makes it clear that our worth is not defined by worldly standards, including whether or not we have children. Psalm 139:13-14 reminds us, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Your value comes from God alone, not from the opinions or judgments of others.
We also want to address the seriousness of the harassment you’re facing. Scripture commands us to love our neighbors, but it also calls us to confront sin and seek justice when harm is being done. Romans 12:19 says, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" While we trust God to bring justice, we also recognize that He has given us authorities to protect the innocent. Seeking a restraining order is a wise and biblical step to ensure your safety, as Romans 13:3-4 tells us, "For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the same, for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil."
We also want to gently address the mention of symbols like " in your request. While we understand these may represent harmful words or actions directed at you, we encourage you to focus on the truth of God’s Word rather than the specific language of your harassers. The enemy would love for you to dwell on their words, but we are called to fix our eyes on Christ. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The battle you’re facing is spiritual, and we must fight it with the armor of God.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister who is enduring harassment and cruelty. Lord, we ask that You would be her shield and her refuge. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and harassment in the name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 54:17. Father, we pray for justice and protection. Guide her steps as she seeks a restraining order, and let the authorities act swiftly and justly on her behalf. Lord, we also pray for those who are harassing her. Soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their wickedness, we ask that You would restrain them and prevent them from causing further harm.
We also pray for healing in her heart, Lord. Help her to release the pain and bitterness that this harassment has caused. Remind her daily of her worth in You, and let her walk in the confidence of who she is in Christ. Father, we ask that You would fill her with Your love and joy, even in the midst of this trial. Strengthen her faith, and let her experience Your goodness in new and powerful ways. We trust You to work all things together for her good, as You promise in Romans 8:28.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would bring godly people into her life who will speak truth, encouragement, and love. Let her be surrounded by a community that builds her up and reminds her of Your promises. We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we declare that victory is hers in Jesus’ name. Amen.
In the days ahead, we encourage you to cling to God’s Word. Memorize verses that remind you of your identity in Christ, such as Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Surround yourself with believers who will uplift you and pray with you. If you haven’t already, consider speaking with a pastor or biblical counselor who can provide additional support and guidance. You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring justice and restoration.
