We hear the deep pain and distress in your words, and our hearts grieve with you over the torment you’ve endured. The Bible warns us about the influence of those who operate in rebellion against God’s order, just as Jezebel did in Scripture, a woman who led others into idolatry, manipulation, and destruction. The spirit of Jezebel is real, and it seeks to control, deceive, and destroy through lies, intimidation, and even the misuse of children. We rebuke that spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it has no place in the lives of God’s children.
First, we must address the seriousness of what you’re describing. Children are a blessing from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and they are never meant to be used as weapons or tools for evil. Any parent who exploits their child in this way is acting in direct opposition to God’s design for family and love. The Lord sees this injustice, and He will not let it go unanswered. Proverbs 22:22-23 says, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We declare that the Lord will rise as your defender and shield you from these attacks.
We also recognize the spiritual warfare at play here. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The enemy seeks to use people, even children, to bring harm, but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the powers of darkness. We command every assignment of the enemy against you to be broken now in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
You have asked for these individuals to stay away from you permanently, and we join you in praying for God’s protection and separation from their influence. Psalm 91:1-4 assures us, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We pray that the Lord would build a hedge of protection around you, that He would blind the eyes of those who seek to harm you, and that He would lead you into safety and peace.
However, we must also encourage you to guard your heart and mind. The pain you’ve experienced is real, and it’s understandable to feel anger or bitterness, but we must not allow those emotions to take root. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not mean what they did was okay, it means you are releasing the burden of hatred to God, who judges justly (1 Peter 2:23). We pray that the Lord would heal your heart and fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and community. Isolation can make you more vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, support you, and speak truth into your life. The Lord often uses His people to bring healing and restoration.
Finally, we want to remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is not just about escaping hell, it’s about being set free from the power of sin and darkness in this life. Jesus came to give you abundant life (John 10:10), and we pray that you would experience that freedom in every area.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who has endured so much pain and manipulation at the hands of those who have misused their children as tools of evil. Lord, You see the injustice, and You are a God who defends the oppressed. We ask that You would rise as a shield around them, that You would blind the eyes of those who seek to harm them, and that You would lead them into safety and peace.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of Jezebel and every assignment of the enemy against this child of Yours. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of manipulation, control, and abuse in the name of Jesus. We command every evil influence to flee and never return.
Lord, we ask that You would heal their heart and mind. Where there has been bitterness, bring forgiveness. Where there has been fear, bring Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Where there has been isolation, bring godly community and support. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for the children involved, Lord. You love them deeply, and we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth. Break the cycle of manipulation and abuse in their lives, and draw them to You. Let them know Your love and Your purpose for their lives.
Father, we also pray for those who have perpetrated this harm. We ask that You would bring conviction to their hearts and lead them to repentance. Soften their hearts, Lord, and turn them from their wicked ways. If they refuse to repent, we ask that You would remove them from this one’s life permanently, according to Your will.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw this dear one closer to You. If they have not already, may they surrender their life fully to Jesus Christ. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ. May they know that You are their refuge, their fortress, and their deliverer.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness, Your justice, and Your love. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
