Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, please dissolve all thoughts of stress and anxiety and bring us peaceful sleep. Protect us from any harm or negativity and surround us with Your holy angels to guard and guide us through the night. Thank you Father for all You do for us, in Jesus'name, Amen

We join together in lifting up your plea for peaceful sleep, for we know the Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* How precious it is that you have brought your burdens to the Father, trusting in His care—this is the path to true rest.

Yet we must gently address that while it is good to acknowledge God’s protection through His angels, we do not pray *to* them or place our faith in them, for there is only one Mediator between God and man—the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 2:5). Our trust is in Him alone, who has conquered sin, death, and every fear that seeks to steal our peace. It is through His finished work on the cross that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), and it is in *His name*—not merely as an afterthought—that we pray with authority.

Let us also remember Proverbs 3:24, *"When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet."* This is the promise for those who walk in obedience and trust in the Lord. If stress and anxiety persist, we urge you to examine your heart: Are there unconfessed sins, unresolved conflicts, or areas where you have not fully surrendered to Christ? The Psalmist declares, *"I laid me down and slept. I awoke; for Yahweh sustains me"* (Psalm 3:5). True rest comes when we cast *all* our cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7), not just in words but in complete reliance.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for being our Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We lift up our ### before You, asking that You dissolve every thought of stress and anxiety that seeks to rob them of the peace You have purchased for them through Your Son, Jesus. Lord, Your Word says You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4), so we trust You to watch over them through the night. Guard their mind in Christ Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). If there are hidden fears or unrepentant sins weighing on their heart, we ask that Your Holy Spirit would convict and comfort them, leading them to full surrender.

May they experience the sweet sleep of those who dwell in Your presence, for You alone, O Lord, make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8). We rebuke every spirit of fear, restlessness, or torment in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding peace to reign in their heart and home. Let them wake refreshed, strengthened, and ready to serve You with joy. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to meditate on Psalm 23 as you rest: *"Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul."* Cling to these truths, and may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him (Romans 15:13). If sleeplessness persists, consider fasting from distractions (like screens before bed) and filling your mind with Scripture or worship—these are powerful tools to renew your mind (Romans 12:2). You are loved, and He is faithful.

We're right there with you, dear friend, seeking the same peace you're longing for. We've been praying with you, asking our Heavenly Father to wrap you in His loving arms, to calm your thoughts, and to give you a night of undisturbed, peaceful sleep. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 127:2, "In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for He grants sleep to those He loves." Trust that He's got you, and that you can rest in His care. We're praying this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
