Peaceful sleep

We hear your cry for peaceful rest and join you in lifting this need before our Heavenly Father. The Scriptures remind us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). It is beautiful that you have come before God with your request, acknowledging His power and sovereignty over your life.
We also recognize the importance of casting our burdens upon the Lord, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Sleep is a gift from God, a time of restoration and renewal. When anxiety and stress invade your mind, remember that God invites you to come to Him, and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28 WEB). Let us pray together for the peace that only He can provide.
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a body of believers, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your peace in the stillness of the night. Fill their mind with the truth of Your Word, reminding them that You are in control and that they can trust in You.
