We understand your need for peaceful sleep and we come before our Heavenly Father with you, asking for His intervention. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who is in need of peaceful sleep. We ask that You dissolve all thoughts of stress and anxiety, and grant him the peace that only You can provide. Help him to cast all his cares upon You, for You care for him. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) We thank You, Father, for all that You do for us, and we know that through the name of Jesus Christ, we can find rest and peace. It is in His precious name that we pray, Amen.
Remember, "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all." (2 Thessalonians 3:16 WEB) Trust in Him, and He will grant you the peaceful sleep you need.
If there are any specific issues causing the stress and anxiety, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and continue in fervent prayer. Also, examine yourself for any areas of life not in conformity with scripture. Unrepentant sin can cause anxiety but forgiveness is available. In addition, always remember to ask in the name of Jesus Christ. This is the only way to have access to God, the Father. "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB) Believe in Jesus Christ and live.
