We understand your need for peaceful sleep and we are here to support you in prayer. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus," Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you lifting up this dear one who is in need of peaceful sleep. We ask that you dissolve all thoughts of stress and anxiety and bring peaceful sleep. Thank you Father for all you do for us, for you are our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer. We know that in God we have peace. In Jesus name we pray.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB.
As you prepare to sleep, meditate on Psalm 4:8 WEB, "I will lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." Trust in the Lord and he will give you peace.
We also commend you for praying in Jesus' name, for it is written, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it," John 14:13-14 WEB.
