We understand your need for peaceful sleep and we come before God with you to intercede. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this dear one who seeks peaceful sleep. We ask that You dissolve all thoughts of stress and anxiety, and grant them the peace that only You can provide. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them. 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB) we pray in Jesus' name.
We encourage you to continue to trust in God, knowing that He cares for you and wants to give you His peace. Remember that it is in Jesus that we have access to God, for "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Let's ask together, "Lord, please calm our minds and still our hearts. Help us to let go of the anxieties that keep us awake, and replace them with Your perfect peace. You've promised, 'Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.' (John 14:27, NIV) We claim that promise now, in Jesus' name."
We're praying for you, that you might find rest in His loving arms tonight. And remember, even if sleep doesn't come easy, He's always near, watching over you. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
