Peaceful sleep

We understand your need for peaceful sleep and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. It is also only through believing in Jesus that we can be saved, "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 WEB
In regards to your request, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our sleep. "He gives to his beloved sleep." Psalm 127:2 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your love and care for us. We ask You to grant peaceful sleep, and to dissolve all thoughts of stress and anxiety. We cast all our cares upon You, knowing that You care for us. Help us to fix our thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable, thinking about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
To help you sleep peacefully, consider meditating on Psalm 23 before you sleep:
"Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. We believe that God is aware of your need for rest, and He's more than willing to help. Let's continue to trust in Him, knowing that He cares deeply for us. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - Psalm 34:18 NIV

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
