We understand that you're seeking peaceful sleep and freedom from stress and anxiety. We commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
In times of stress and anxiety, God encourages us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us. "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you"(1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Also, when you lie down to sleep, you can trust in God to sustain you, "I will lay me down in peace and sleep; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety" (Psalm 4:8, WEB). Remember Jesus Christ sleeping in the boat during the storm and when he woke up and rebuked the wind and the sea. The story is in Mark 4: 37-41.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We rebuke and cast out all thoughts of stress and anxiety. We rebuke and cast out all memories that are causing stress and anxiety. We rebuke and cast out any demon that is causing stress and anxiety in the name of Jesus. We ask for Your supernatural intervention to grant peaceful sleep. Help them to rest in Your promises and trust in Your goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is always with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB). Continue to fix your thoughts on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable, thinking about things that are excellent and worthy of praise (Philippians 4:8, WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5, WEB).
