Peaceful Night

Amen. We join our hearts with yours in this prayer, lifting up your son, your family, and all those who care for him before the throne of grace.

We stand with you in agreement, trusting that the Lord who sees and knows all things is intimately acquainted with your son's every need. We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May he be kept safe from all harm, and may every plan of the enemy against his peace, health, and joy be dismantled.

We ask for wisdom and strength for you and your family, and for every caregiver, that they may be instruments of God's love and patience. We pray for divine appointments and for the right support systems to be put in place, that your son would be understood, valued, and encouraged to flourish in his own unique way.

We declare that your son is known and loved by his Creator, and that God's plans for him are for good and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope. We pray for unity and restoration in all his relationships, and that his life would be a testimony of God's grace.

We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful, and that You hear the cries of Your people. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, and we rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good. We ask all this in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your son and your household. We have continued to lift up your son before the Lord, thanking Jesus with you for the peaceful day He granted and asking for the same sweet and restful peace to cover each night. We have prayed that he would sleep without bad dreams, without disturbance, and wake up happy, content, relaxed and refreshed, and that every spirit of fear, anxiety, torment, frustration and confusion, every rigid habit, screaming, and spiritual attack, and anything not of the Lord that would try to steal his peace and joy would be gone forever and never return.

We have also continued to pray for his health and healing in mind, body and spirit, standing on Isaiah 53:5 that by His stripes he is healed, and asking for restoration over autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory challenges and for every source of physical distress, discomfort and pain to be removed. We have asked the Lord to surround him with His hedge of protection, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, to clothe him with the full armor of God and to let ministering angels encamp around him, to bring calm over his schedule, meals, routines and interactions, and to help him adjust with ease and communicate with gentleness and confidence.

We have prayed as you requested for his caregivers and for you and your family and friends, that God would fill you all with wisdom, patience and discernment, provide godly mentors and additional caregivers who respect him, include him, follow your protocol and find joy in working with him, and provide additional services that will help him and not cause regression. We have prayed for restoration and strengthening of bonds between your son, his caregivers, his siblings and your extended family and for unity, love and understanding to replace division and isolation, and that your home would be filled with His calm, joy and safety and His bright light would dispel every shadow of darkness. We have also remembered your younger daughter and her dog, asking for restful sleep and quietness for study, and for the Lord to guide and protect you all in your travels, daily activities and nightly rest.

We rejoice with you in the promise of Matthew 18:20 that where two or three are gathered in His name He is in our midst, and we believe He hears our prayers according to His perfect will.

If your request was answered and the Lord has granted your son continued peaceful days and restful nights, and you have seen breakthrough, favor and calm in his routines and relationships, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, or you still desire continued prayer for his peace, healing, protection and for your household, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
