Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and your faithful prayers for your son. It is encouraging to hear that he had a peaceful day, and it is right that you are bringing his moments of agitation and anxiety to Jesus so quickly.
Jesus is both truly man and truly God. As the promised son of David He understands our human weakness, and as the Son of God He has power to save and to heal. One of His names is Prince of Peace, and He said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth. The peace the world offers depends on circumstances, but the peace Jesus gives can guard the heart and mind even when circumstances are difficult.
Scripture often puts grace before peace, and that order matters. First we have peace with God through grace by faith in Jesus Christ, and then we can know the peace of God keeping our hearts. If you have trusted in Jesus, you already have peace with God, and you can ask Him to let His peace rule in your home and in your son's mind and body. His thoughts toward you and your son are thoughts of peace, to give you hope and a future, and He hears you when you call upon Him.
You prayed for healing in mind, body and spirit, and for relief from autism, anxiety, trauma and sensory distress. We can confidently trust Jesus for physical healing as well as spiritual healing. The Gospels show Him healing with a word even from a distance, as when He healed the nobleman's son many miles away, and they also show healings that unfolded gradually. Every true healing is from God, whether it comes instantly or through a slower process that God has built into our bodies. That process is still divine, because God created it. There is much we do not understand about why some are healed quickly and others wait, but we can keep trusting the same Jesus who bore our sicknesses, and by whose stripes we are healed.
Your prayers for protection are biblical and good. To ask for a hedge around him, for no weapon formed against him to prosper, for the full armor of God to clothe him with truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and the Word of God, and for angels to encamp around him, is to ask for what God has promised to His children. It is right to rebuke fear, torment, confusion and every influence that is not from God, and to ask that those things bow to the name of Jesus and depart. Perfect love casts out fear, and God has not given us a spirit of fear.
I join you in praying for calm over his daily rhythms, his meals, his sleep, his routines and his interactions, that he would eat in peace, sleep without disturbance and wake refreshed, that he would be able to adjust with more ease and communicate with gentleness and confidence, and that he would find joy and satisfaction in what he does. I also pray with you for wisdom, patience and discernment for you, for his caregivers, family and friends, and for godly mentors to encourage him. I pray for his relationships with his siblings to be strengthened in love, compassion and unity, with any division or isolation removed, and for your whole household to rest in the calm and safety of God's presence. I also lift up your younger daughter and even her dog for restful sleep, and your family for protection in all your daily activities and travels.
Jesus promised that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there among them. We stand together in agreement with you, believing He hears and will answer according to His perfect will. Keep bringing every need to Him, thanking Him for the victories He has already won and for the work He is still doing.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask You to pour out Your peace upon this son and this home. Remove fear, anxiety and torment and replace them with calm and joy. Heal his mind, body and spirit according to Your mercy. Surround him with Your protection, clothe him with Your armor, and let Your angels guard him. Give wisdom and patience to his mother and all who care for him, and knit his family together in love. Let Your grace and peace rule in this household tonight and every night. Amen.
