We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this family and the deep concerns laid before the Lord. Father, we thank You for the earnestness of this prayer, for the love that seeks Your will and the boldness to stand against division in Jesus’ name. We join in agreement, declaring that today will indeed be a day of peace, joy, and fellowship, filled with the Holy Spirit—peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we stand on Your Word that says, *"A house divided against itself will not stand"* (Matthew 12:25). We rebuke every spirit of discord, chaos, and division that seeks to disrupt this family’s time together. We declare that no ungodly influence will prevail, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We sever every ungodly soul tie in Jesus’ name, especially those that bind Your children to relationships that do not honor You. Father, open the eyes of this daughter to the truth—she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), bought with the precious blood of Christ, and called to walk in freedom (Galatians 5:1). May she see the toxicity of this situation and turn her heart fully toward You, remembering the command to honor her parents (Exodus 20:12) and the wisdom of walking in Your ways.
We address the interference of this young man’s mother with the authority of Your Word. Lord, You frustrate the plans of the crafty, and their hands achieve no success (Job 5:12). We declare that her schemes will fail, and her words hold no power over this household, for the blood of Jesus covers and protects this family. We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of their lives, standing on Isaiah 54:17: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment."* We pray she is confronted with the damage she has caused and that her focus returns to her own family, as Scripture commands, *"If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, live peaceably with all men"* (Romans 12:18).
Father, we also lift up the son with disabilities, asking for Your special grace and protection over him. May he feel Your love and peace in a tangible way, and may no harm come near him. We pray for unity in this family, that they would be knit together in love, bearing with one another in patience and forgiveness (Colossians 3:13-14).
We encourage this family to stand firm in faith, knowing that God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If this daughter is in a relationship that does not align with Your Word—whether through fornication, ungodly influences, or disobedience to Your design for marriage—we pray she repents and seeks Your will above all else. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24), and any relationship outside of Your design brings bondage, not freedom. We declare that she is called to more, to a life that honors You in every way.
Lord, we ask that You soften hearts, break chains, and restore what has been broken. May this family walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, experiencing the joy and peace that comes from obedience to You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18).
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for this family. Strengthen them, guide them, and let Your will be done in every situation. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
