Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join you in lifting him before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and by whose stripes we are healed.

We understand the heaviness you carry as you watch him struggle with torment, anxiety, restlessness, confusion and agitation, especially as night comes. Scripture teaches us that night was made by God as a haven and a medicine for our wounds, a time when He gives sleep even when our own thoughts would keep us awake. He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He watches over your son when you cannot. While we are called to guard our own hearts and to stay steadfast, we also rest in knowing that our keeping depends finally on Him who never grows weary.

We pray now for your son, that the Lord will grant him a peaceful, calm and quiet night. May God dispel all fear, torment and confusion and clothe him with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that every spirit of anxiety and unrest would bow to the name of Jesus and depart, and that your son would be filled with the Holy Spirit, with clarity, gentleness, joy and satisfaction. We pray for healing in his mind, body and spirit, for relief from all physical distress and sensory burden, and for the Lord to touch those areas where he experiences autism, trauma and anxiety. May he eat his meals in peace with a thankful and gentle heart, sleep without disturbance and wake refreshed and strengthened.

We pray for his days as well, for his schedule, his activities, his outings and his travels. May the Lord establish his routines and give him grace to adjust with ease, to communicate with confidence and gentleness, and to find contentment in what is set before him. We ask that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and that the Lord would surround him with a hedge of protection and with ministering angels, clothing him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

We also lift up your family. We ask the Lord to restore and strengthen the unbreakable bond between your son and his sisters, to remove every obstacle, toxic influence and source of division, and to fill your home with love, compassion, forgiveness and unity. We pray for you and for his caregivers, that God would grant you wisdom, patience and discernment to do what is right for him, and that He would provide dedicated, godly and caring helpers who will bring out the best in him with calmness and kindness. May the Lord anoint every meeting and service concerning his care to bring true help and breakthrough according to His perfect will.

We thank God for the more peaceful days He has already granted and we continue to ask Him to turn setbacks into testimonies of His mercy. Where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in their midst, and we stand in agreement with you that His light will dispel every shadow in your home. May He guide you daily and keep you and your children in all your ways.

We entrust your son and your whole household to the faithful keeping of Christ, asking all these things in His holy and mighty name. Amen.
