We stand together in agreement, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. I pray for my entire household, that we may all rest in the peace of God today and every day. We join with you in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace and we thank you for bringing him to us in prayer with such tender love and faith. We hear your heart for his peace, especially tonight as he wrestles with anxiety, restlessness, confusion, rigidity and agitation, and we stand with you asking our Father to calm every storm within him and to grant him a quiet, satisfying and restorative sleep.

We take comfort in the promise that God gives rest to His beloved. Psalm 4:8 says I will both lay myself down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone make me live in safety. And Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. This is the peace we ask to guard your son's heart and mind tonight, a peace that quiets screaming, stills rigidity, and replaces frustration and uneasiness with calm contentment.

We pray against every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety and confusion that would seek to disrupt his peace. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7. We command in the name of Jesus Christ that every negative habit, every rigid behavior, every source of discomfort and distress must bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him and not return. We ask the Lord to fill him afresh with the Holy Spirit, that he would be saturated with joy, gratefulness, clarity and favor, and that his communication would come forth with gentleness and confidence rather than through negative habits.

We lift up his meals, his new schedule, his activities, his outings and his traveling, and we ask the Lord to anoint each one with satisfaction and contentment. We pray he will eat peacefully, with a thankful heart, and be satisfied, and that he will adjust with ease and obedience and find joy in his daily routines. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and we know the Lord cares deeply for your son and sees every sensory challenge, every moment of loneliness or boredom or being overwhelmed.

We also join you in praying for his relationship with his sisters and for your whole household. We ask the Lord to remove every obstacle, toxic influence and source of division, disrespect and isolation that seeks to cause havoc in your family unity and that looks down upon his disabilities. Every child is fearfully and wonderfully made in Psalm 139:14 and we pray that those around him will see him as God sees him, worthy of inclusion, respect, acceptance and unconditional love. We pray for a special anointing of restoration to mend what has been broken, to build an unbreakable bond of love, forgiveness and unity between him and his sisters, and to surround your family with godly friendships and mentors who will uplift and encourage.

We pray for you and for his caregivers, that God would grant you abundant wisdom, patience and discernment beyond your own understanding. James 1:5 promises If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We ask for dedicated, gentle, calm and caring caregivers who will bring out the best in him, and that he will have a gentle heart toward them and be at peace even when familiar caregivers are not present. We pray his services and meetings would be anointed for breakthrough, success and victory, and that the Lord would guide every decision for his care.

We declare healing over his mind, body and spirit, for Isaiah 53:5 says by his wounds we are healed, and we ask for restoration over every area affected by autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory challenges. We ask the Lord to remove every source of physical pain and distress, to let him sleep without disturbance and wake refreshed and strengthened. We pray a hedge of protection around him, that no weapon that is formed against him will prevail as promised in Isaiah 54:17, and we ask the Lord to clothe him with the full armor of God described in Ephesians 6:11-18, and to command His angels to encamp around him and guard him in all his ways as in Psalm 91:11.

Father, we thank You for the victories You have already given and for the more peaceful days You have granted, and we trust You to make these setbacks flee and never return. We agree together according to Matthew 18:20 where it says For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them, and we believe You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. May Your bright light dispel every shadow of darkness in this home and fill it with calm, joy, peace and safety.

We pray all of this through the blood of Jesus Christ, that nothing would enter his life or body unless it goes through that covering, and we ask that he would be a beacon of Your light wherever he goes, reflecting Your love, peace and grace.

We pray this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our only hope and our access to the Father, for Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and John 14:6 reminds us Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We rest in that name tonight and trust the Lord to grant your son sweet, peaceful sleep and your household a night and days filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen.

We are holding you and your son in prayer tonight, and we hear how deeply you love him and how much you long for him to feel safe, calm, and at rest. Watching him wrestle with anxiety, restlessness, and sleeplessness while also navigating a new schedule and new caregivers is a lot to carry, and your faithful care for him through it all is beautiful.

It makes sense that a change in routine, meals, and familiar faces would leave him feeling more unsettled right now. Children who experience the world very sensitively often need extra time and gentle consistency to adjust, and small predictable rhythms around sleep and meals can be a comfort even when the bigger schedule has shifted.

One practical step that may help you and his caregivers stay on the same page is to keep a simple daily note for the next week or two, when he fell asleep and woke, what seemed to soothe him or make him more agitated around meals and activities, and how transitions went. Sharing that with his caregivers and his doctor or care team can give everyone a clearer picture of patterns and what supports him best. If his difficulty sleeping and ongoing anxiety continue, we encourage you to bring those concerns to his clinicians as well, alongside prayer, so they can walk with you in caring for him.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this dear son to You tonight. Surround him with Your peace and guard his sleep, calm his body and mind, and let his meals and routines be gentle and satisfying. Give his mother and each caregiver wisdom, patience, and unity, and restore sweet connection between him and his sisters. Cover this household with Your protection and presence. Amen.

We have carried your earnest supplication before the throne of grace and we join our hearts with yours for your dear son and for your whole household.

You ask for what God alone can give, a peaceful and quiet night, a calm spirit, and sleep that refreshes. The Scripture teaches us that sleep is the gift of God, for so He giveth His beloved sleep. It is not merely that we lie down and compose ourselves, but the Lord Himself must grant rest. We have prayed that the Lord would bestow upon your son that sleep of contentment and that sleep of security which belongs to those who are kept by Him, that he may lie down without torment and wake refreshed and strengthened for the mercies of a new day.

We have also prayed concerning the anxiety, restlessness, confusion and agitation which so trouble him, and which weigh so heavily upon you. Anxiety, as we have often observed, brings no grist to the mill and no meal to the barrel. It does not pay, and it unfits us to meet the difficulty which occasions it. Your care is real and your burden is heavy, but our Lord Jesus bids us cast all our care upon Him, for He careth for us. We have asked the Lord to lift this spirit of fear and torment, to calm the rigid habits and the cries of distress, and to grant instead a spirit of peace and of a sound mind. May He teach your son to eat with thankfulness and contentment, to find satisfaction in his meals and in his daily activities, and to know that quietness which surpasses all understanding.

We have pleaded the healing virtue that is in Christ. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing power to the wounded heart and the weary frame. By His stripes we are healed, and pardon and healing are joined together in His blessed person. We have asked the Great Physician to look upon your son in mercy, to ease every source of bodily distress and pain, to calm the sensory trials and the wounds of past distress, and to bring healing to mind, body and spirit according to His perfect will. Whether He restores by a gradual work of grace or by His sovereign touch, we pray that your son may be saturated with the peace and joy which come from being kept in Jesus.

We have prayed also for that unity in your home for which your heart longs. There is a unity of the Spirit which is worthy to be kept, not a cold unity of mere outward quiet, but a unity wrought by love to the Saviour. We have asked the Lord to restore and strengthen the unbreakable bond between your son and his sisters, to remove every toxic influence, every source of division, disrespect and isolation, and to clothe your household with love, compassion and forgiveness. We have prayed that every obstacle which would look down upon his infirmities or cause havoc in your family may be taken away, and that godly friendships and mentors may be raised up to encourage him.

We have remembered before the Lord those who care for him day by day. We have asked that the Lord would grant to you and to all his caregivers wisdom, patience and discernment, and that He would provide dedicated helpers who will deal gently and calmly with him and bring out what is best in him. May the Lord anoint your meetings and his services, guide you to right decisions, and make his outings, his independent activities and his friendships to be marked by joy and safety. We have prayed that a hedge of protection may be about him, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and that he may be clothed with the whole armour of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, with ministering angels encamping round about him.

Hear then our prayer together:

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, we come through the blood of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation is found, and we lay this dear son before Thee. Grant him this night sweet and unbroken sleep. Remove far from him fear, anxiety, anger, confusion and every spiritual assault, and let these things bow to the name of Jesus and trouble him no more. Fill him with Thy Holy Spirit and with peace, joy, gratefulness and clarity. Bless his meals and his routines, his schedule and his relationships, and let him adjust with ease and communicate with gentleness. Restore what has been broken in his family, knit their hearts together in Thy love, and let Thy light dispel every shadow of darkness in that home. Grant wisdom to those who care for him and keep all his ways in Thy favour. We thank Thee for every peaceful day Thou hast already granted and we trust Thee for days to come. Let not one thing enter his life except it pass through Thy gracious hand, and let him be a witness to Thy grace. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope we ask it. Amen.

We will continue to bear you up before the Lord, that you may rest also in His care and know His sustaining grace in every duty to which He has called you.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
