We join you in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace and we stand in agreement with you for a peaceful and calm night and for rest that only the Lord can give. We hear your heart for him, that he would be free from confusion, moodiness, restlessness, anger, uneasiness, frustration and anxiety, especially around his meals and his daily activities, and we thank God with you for the more peaceful days He has already granted.

The Word reminds us where true peace comes from. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And John 14:27 gives us the promise of Jesus, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. We also cling to 2 Timothy 1:7, For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, and to Psalm 4:8, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.

We rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name and His blood that we find protection, healing and salvation. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Your declaration that nothing enter his life and body unless it goes through the blood of Jesus is a powerful covering and we agree with you for that hedge of protection.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for this mother and father heart that loves this son so deeply. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for the victories and more peaceful days You have already provided. Tonight we ask You to saturate this dear son with Your peace, joy, contentment, gratefulness, clarity and favor in every aspect of his life. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind. Remove every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, confusion and frustration and let it bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him forever and never return.

Lord, we ask You to bless his meals, that he would eat in peace with a grateful and thankful heart and be satisfied. Bless all his activities and independent activities with calm and joy. We speak calm over his schedule, his routines, his relationships and his interactions. Grant him restful sleep without disturbance and let him wake refreshed, full of Your joy and strength. We pray for healing in his mind, body and spirit, for You have said by His wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5, and we ask for Your restoring hand upon every area of health, including autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory challenges. Remove every source of physical distress, discomfort and pain.

We put around him the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, Ephesians 6:11, and we ask that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, Isaiah 54:17, and that Your ministering angels would encamp around him and guard him in all his ways, Psalm 91:11.

Father, we also lift up his caregivers and his family. Fill them with wisdom, patience and discernment, for James 1:5 promises, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. Guide this parent with Your wisdom and knowledge to do all the right things to help him be the best he can be and to choose the right services for him. Provide dedicated, godly caregivers who will bring out the best in him in a gentle, calm and caring manner and give him a gentle heart toward them, with peace and satisfaction even when caregivers change. Anoint his services for breakthrough, victory and success.

We ask You to bless his household with Your presence, that Your bright light would dispel every shadow of darkness and fill the home with calm, joy, peace and safety. Restore and strengthen the bonds between him and his siblings and family with love, compassion and unity. Remove or redirect every negative influence, division, strife or isolation and bring godly mentors and friends who will encourage and uplift him. Let him always feel included, respected, accepted and loved, and let him be a beacon of Your light, reflecting Your love, peace and grace in all he does.

We thank You Lord that where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are in the midst, Matthew 18:20, and we trust You to answer according to Your perfect will. We declare breakthrough, favor like a shield, miracles, healing and satisfaction over his life, and we believe setbacks will be replaced with blessings. Comfort this family tonight and let them all rest in Your peace today and every day. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We are praying with you for a calm and peaceful night for your son. We can hear how tenderly you love him and how much you want his evenings and meals to be settled and restful, especially when anxiety rises and makes everything harder.

It is encouraging to hear you have seen more peaceful days recently. That matters, even when a difficult night comes. Growth and rest often come in ups and downs, not in a straight line, and one anxious evening does not undo the good you have seen.

One small step that has helped other families is keeping a brief shared note for caregivers and for your own meetings, just a few lines about what helped at meals or bedtime and what felt hard, so everyone can stay consistent and you do not have to carry it all in your memory. And as you continue to seek healing and support for his autism, anxiety and sensory needs, we encourage you to keep his doctors and therapists closely involved alongside prayer, so they can walk with you in wisdom.

Father, we lift your son to You tonight and ask for Your peace to rest over his body and mind as he eats and sleeps. Surround him with Your protection and surround his mother and caregivers with patience and wisdom. Give this household quiet rest tonight and hope for tomorrow. In Jesus name, amen.

Your earnest and anxious enquiry for your beloved son has been carried before the throne of grace, and we have joined our hearts with yours in prayer. We know what it is to plough deep furrows with such questions as yours, Is my son safe, is he at peace, will he rest well tonight. The Lord who hears the intensity of the anxious enquirer hears also that Oh which comes from the depth of a parent's love, Oh that I knew where I might find Him for my child.

We have prayed that this night the Lord would give to your son that sleep which is the gift of God. We do not merely lay our heads upon our pillows and therefore sleep, for sleep is from His hand. So He giveth His beloved sleep, the sleep of contentment and the sleep of security. We have asked that He who neither slumbers nor sleeps would grant your son to lie down in peace, to eat his meals in peace and with thankfulness, to wake refreshed and satisfied, and to find a calm and quiet contentment in his activities and routines. May the Lord keep him from confusion and restlessness, from fear and torment and all uneasiness, and saturate him with a peace that surpasses all understanding.

We have prayed also for healing, for you rightly look to Him whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue, and His fruit is sweet to restore the soul. We have asked that where there is distress in body or mind, in senses or in spirit, whether in autism or anxiety or the wounds of past distress, the Lord would lay His healing hand upon him. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, and when Jesus said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, He showed that pardon and healing are one in His mercy. By His stripes we are healed, and we look to that great conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. We do not ask this as a claim upon God, but as beggars at the mercy seat, trusting wholly in the blood of Jesus Christ, through which alone we come, and through which we ask that nothing enter his life except what passes through that precious blood.

We have prayed that the Lord would clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and that ministering angels may encamp around him and keep him in all his ways. No weapon formed against him shall prosper when the Lord is his hedge and his guard. We have asked that every spirit of fear and every habit of rigidity and distress would bow to the name of Jesus and depart, and that he would be filled with the Holy Spirit, with clarity and gratefulness and joy.

For you and for those who care for him, we have prayed for wisdom. If any lack wisdom, let him ask of God who giveth liberally. The great enemy digs a Slough of Despond before anxious souls, but God giveth wisdom to those who turn a tearful eye to heaven and cry, My Father, give me wisdom that I may walk in Thy way. We have asked that the Lord would give you and his caregivers patience, discernment and a gentle heart, that He would provide dedicated and godly helpers who will bring out the best in him in a calm and caring manner, and that He would guide all meetings and services and daily travels with His own hand. We have prayed for restoration in your household, for love and unity between him and his siblings, and that any division or negative influence would be removed or redirected, and that uplifting friendships and mentors would be granted.

Remember the blind man who cried, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Though others tried to hush him, he cried so much the more, and Jesus stopped and called him. So continue to cry to Him. He strictly kept the law and yet bore the penalty Himself, not half upon Himself and half upon the sinner, but all upon Himself upon the cross, that mercy and justice might meet. In Him alone is salvation, and in Him alone is our hope for ourselves and for our children.

We thank God for every peaceful day already granted and we ask Him to establish your son and your whole household in His calm and joy. Where two or three are gathered in His name, there He is in the midst, and we are gathered with you in that promise, believing that He hears according to His perfect will. May His bright light dispel every shadow, and may your home be filled with His presence, with rest for this night and strength for every day to come. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour we pray, Amen.
