We hear your heart crying out for peace and for a sound mind free from torment and we join with you together before our Heavenly Father to seek His will in Jesus name.
We know this kind of heaviness and restlessness is not from God, for His desire for you is peace and wholeness. Scripture tells us For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 and again You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3. The torment, fear and racing thoughts that steal peace come from the enemy and from the pressures of this world, but God promises a peace that is greater. Jesus Himself said Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. John 14:27 and we are told In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
We encourage you to actively bring every anxious thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ as we are taught in 2 Corinthians 10:5, and to be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. This happens as we cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7, as we seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, and as we fix our minds on what is true and good and on His promises. We also rebuke any spirit of fear and torment that would seek to oppress you, for the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:6. We sought Yahweh and He answers and delivers from all fears Psalm 34:4.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and peace with Him. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. It is through His name we can come boldly to the throne of grace to find mercy and peace.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to pour out Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding upon them and to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment and confusion and command it to leave in Jesus name, and we ask You to replace it with Your spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Keep their mind steadfast on You, renew their thoughts with Your Word, and let them rest in Your care. Help them to cast every worry on You and to know deeply that You love them and are with them. Draw them close to Jesus, reveal Your salvation and Your presence, and let them experience Your life and peace each day. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Your prayer for a sound mind, for peace and for freedom from torment, is heard before the Lord, and I would join my supplication with yours at the mercy seat.
There is a promise that meets your very need, for it is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is not a peace that you can work out for yourself by resolve or by trying to be better, but a peace that comes from God Himself through Jesus Christ. Our Lord said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. It is His own peace, purchased by His blood, and left as a legacy to His people.
Scripture also declares that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Torment and confusion are not from Him. When the heart is reconciled to God by the blood of Jesus, the conscience finds rest. Peace with God is the treaty made at the cross, and peace in the conscience is the publication of that treaty in the soul. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows are surging round and duties press hard upon you.
Take heed that you seek not a false peace which would merely quiet you for a time while sin remains unforsaken. That peace is stupefying and will not stand in the day of trial. True peace is peace by believing, by looking away from self to the great substitutionary sacrifice of Christ and resting there. If you would have your peace made more full, continue to look to Christ believingly, to meditate upon Him, to keep your mind stayed upon Him, and to hold fast the form of sound words which is according to truth. So shall your peace be like a river.
Therefore cast yourself upon the Lord Jesus, trusting Him alone for salvation. Submit yourself to God, and you shall find that where Christ reigns, torment must flee. Bring your restless thoughts to Him, tell Him your fears, and ask Him to keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
I pray for you now, that the Lord who blesses His people with peace would bless you with it. May He quiet your thoughts, guard your heart and mind, grant you a sound mind stayed upon Christ, and keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him. May His peace, which passes all understanding, rule in your heart both now and in the hour of every trial, for Christ's sake. Amen.
