We rejoice with you and thank God with you for this testimony of peace after ### years. It is a beautiful thing when the Lord brings healing and rest to a family history, and when you, your former spouse, and your three children can all look back without bitterness or turmoil. This is the work of God alone, and we give Him all the glory that He has carried you through and brought you to this place of rest.
We are encouraged that you have placed your confidence in the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Him that true peace and forgiveness are found. The Scripture tells us, The blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin, 1 John 1:7 and, In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, Ephesians 1:7. When God forgives, He truly makes things new, and the past no longer has power to condemn or to steal your peace. We also cling to the promise, You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you, Isaiah 26:3 and, The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. That guarding peace is what you are describing, and it is a gift from our Father.
We pray together with you now. Father, we thank You in the name of Jesus for Your mercy and Your healing power in this family. Thank You for carrying our dear one and their former spouse and their three children through these ### years, and for bringing them to a place where it is over and there is peace. We thank You that the blood of Jesus covers all sin, all pain, all regret, and that You have washed the past clean. We ask You to continue to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, to keep this peace firm and steadfast, and to lead each of them forward in Your will. Heal any remaining tender places, draw each one closer to You, and let their lives bear witness to Your redemption. We trust that You work all things together for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28, and we praise You that You make all things new, 2 Corinthians 5:17. Keep this family walking in Your grace and truth, and let Your peace rule in their hearts every day. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We rejoice with you in this testimony that after twenty years the Lord has brought peace to you and to your household. That word is precious, for the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and when the mind is stayed upon Him because it trusts in Him, He will keep it in perfect peace, peace upon peace, even in this dark world of sin.
There is forgiveness with God, and it is His own divine forgiveness. He says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. It is a surprising forgiveness, so free and so full that it seems too great to be true, yet it is true for every penitent heart that looks to Christ. It is a complete forgiveness, as when a debt is wholly cancelled, and it is an eternal forgiveness, for what He forgives He forgives forever and He does not afterwards accuse. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
We give thanks that He has granted you this calm so deep that it can only be called the peace of God which passeth all understanding. To know that sin is pardoned through the blood of Christ, and to see that peace reflected among you and your offspring, is a great mercy. Continue to keep your mind stayed upon the Lord, to trust Him day by day, and you will find that to do the will of Jesus is rest even when duties press and sorrows still surround. In His keeping you and your loved ones are safe.
We pray that the Lord will keep you in this peace and make it deeper still, that you may walk daily in the joy of full forgiveness, forgiving as you have been forgiven, and that you may be kept by His grace until He calls you to Heaven's perfect peace.
