Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness for our sins and the sins of the world. We pray for Your peace to reign in the hearts of men and women everywhere.

Lord, You have told us in Your Word,
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God." Matthew 5:9 WEB

Father, we ask that You raise up peacemakers in every nation, that Your peace may reign supreme. We pray for an end to anger, rude language, and bad emotions that cause strife and division. We rebuke the work of Satan that seeks to destroy lives and communities through chaos and suffering.

Lord, we lift up the fatherless, the widows, and the orphans, and we ask for Your comfort and provision in their lives. We pray that You will turn the hearts of the people back to You, that they may find true peace and hope in You alone.

Father, we also pray for those who are crying, full of resentment, and feeling as though they are on the path to extermination. Lord, turn their hearts to You, that they may find forgiveness, healing, and restoration.

Lord Jesus, You are our King, and we eagerly await Your return. Help us to be ready, repenting of our sins and living in a way that pleases You.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
