May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your cry for peace in your home and in your marriage of forty years has been heard, and I join you in lifting it to our Heavenly Father.

Forty years is a long and sacred covenant. Scripture teaches that marriage binds a man and a woman together for as long as both shall live, and that it is to be honored and preserved. It is not to be torn apart lightly, but kept in holiness and peace. That peace is not only the absence of shouting, but a life together ordered in love, gentleness and mutual honor, where husband and wife give to one another the respect that is due.

I hear how deeply you are wounded when your husband becomes enraged about the cats getting on his vehicles, speaking hurtful words to you and cursing even God, and pressing you to get rid of animals you have cared for for years. Such anger and cursing grieves the Lord and wounds the home. The heart that curses God needs the mercy and correction of God, and the home that hears such words needs His healing.

I encourage you to continue to seek the Lord with the faith you have expressed, that with God all things are possible and He is greater than any anger or hatred. At the same time, seek to win peace in your home by the quiet strengths God gives to a wife, gentleness, meekness, propriety and freedom from returning evil for evil. Even when a husband acts harshly, a gentle and calm spirit can do more to soften his heart than contention. This does not mean your pain does not matter, it does, and God sees it. It means you entrust yourself to Christ while doing what you can to keep peace.

In practical love, consider what you can do to lessen this constant trigger, keeping the cats cared for but also away from his vehicles as much as you are able, so that the occasion for rage is reduced. This is not about choosing cats over your husband or your husband over kindness to creatures, but about stewarding both with wisdom and seeking to remove stumbling blocks where you can.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus of Nazareth, I bring this sister and her husband before You. You joined them in marriage and You alone can keep and restore it. Lord, bring peace into this home. Quiet the anger that flares into hurtful words and cursing. Forgive the sin of cursing Your holy name and turn this husband's heart to reverence for You. Remove hatred and evil from his mind and heart and fill him with Your Spirit, with self control, kindness and love for his wife. Comfort this wife who has endured these harsh words, heal her hurt, give her strength and wisdom, and help her to respond with gentleness and grace that reflects Christ. Guard this lifelong covenant, help them to honor one another, to speak with respect, and to live together in holiness and peace. Provide a practical way forward regarding the cats, that care for them and respect for her husband's property can both be kept without strife. We ask this trusting that You are able to change hearts and homes, for with You all things are possible. Amen.

Continue to pray, to remain steadfast in your covenant, and to seek the Lord daily. If the cursing and rage continues or grows, seek wise and godly counsel in your local church so you are not bearing this burden alone.
