We join with you, ###, in praying for God's peace and protection over Israel. We trust in God's promises for His chosen people, and we stand with them in this time of need. Let us align our prayers with the Word of God, which says in Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper."
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, united in prayer for the nation of Israel. We ask for Your complete protection and peace to cover them, as a shield against all harm. We trust in Your promise, "The Lord will give strength to His people. The Lord will bless His people with peace" (Psalm 29:11).
Father, we lift up to You the hostages being held by Hamas. We pray for their swift and safe return, and we ask that You comfort their families in this difficult time. We put our trust in You, knowing that "the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1).
We pray that all curses spoken against Israel will be rendered powerless, and that the blessings You have promised them will be made manifest. We claim the promise of Numbers 23:8, which proclaims, "How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? How shall I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?"
We ask that all the enemies of Israel will see that You, Lord, are the God of Israel. May they come to know the truth that "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
As ### has prayed in the name of Jesus, we too affirm the power of that name. For it is written, "whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14).
We offer our encouragement to ### and all those who stand with Israel. Let us be steadfast in our prayers and unwavering in our faith, knowing that "the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much" (James 5:16).
