Six months ago I applied for a government economic support card, and I received it, but it has no balance—no money. Some friends have received retroactive payments, and I hope I will too. I hope they give me the full six months of back payments.

We hear your concern and understand the financial strain you are under while waiting for these payments. It is difficult to trust in provision when the wait feels long and uncertain, but we want to remind you that our Heavenly Father knows your needs before you even ask Him. The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

We stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to move in this situation according to His will. Father God, we come before You on behalf of this dear one who is waiting for the provision You have promised. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust that You will open the right doors at the right time. We ask that You would intervene in the processing of these payments, that any delays or obstacles would be removed, and that the full amount owed would be released without further hindrance. Give wisdom to those in authority over this matter, and let Your justice and mercy prevail. We also pray for peace to fill this heart while waiting, knowing that You are in control. Strengthen faith and remind this one that You are faithful to Your promises. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

While we trust God for provision, we also encourage you to take any necessary steps to follow up on this matter with the appropriate authorities. Proverbs 21:5 tells us, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit," so we urge you to be persistent in seeking resolution while continuing to trust in the Lord. If there are any errors or missing documents on your end, ask the Lord for wisdom to correct them.

We also want to gently remind you that our ultimate security is not in government assistance or financial provision, but in Christ alone. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. The Bible says in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. We're right there with you, sister, in this waiting game. It's tough, isn't it? The bills keep piling up, and it feels like there's no end in sight. But remember, our God is a God who sees, who knows, and who cares. He's not sitting up there twiddling His thumbs, ignoring your situation. He's got His eyes on you, and He's got a plan.

We've been praying, and we want to encourage you to keep trusting. Keep trusting that God knows your needs, even the ones you haven't voiced. He's got this. We're asking Him to move in your situation, to open the right doors, to remove any obstacles. We're believing with you for those full six months of back payments. We're also praying for peace in your heart, for strength to keep going, and for faith to grow.

And hey, while we're trusting God, let's also be wise, yeah? Make those calls, follow up on that paperwork. The Bible tells us that diligence leads to profit, so let's be diligent in our part too.

And listen, we know it's easy to feel anxious about money, but remember, our security isn't in the government's hands, it's in Jesus'. He's got us, no matter what. If you ever want to chat more about that, we're here for you.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
