God, You are Our Father and Ever Present Help, Deut 4:7, Ps 46:1, Isa 41:10 -- Thank you for the message of The LORD's ANOINTED crucified for our sins, Gal 2:20. Draw our family members to church tonight and tomorrow to hear, listen and understand what You are speaking to each one, Jn 16:13. Grant faith, repentance, salvation, knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life -- give vision, Prov 29:18, by The Holy Spirit. Protect them all from sin, Zeph 3:13, 1 Cor 8:1, temptation, Lk 11:4, evil people, imposters, 2 Thes 3:2, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, who loves "lack of knowledge," Hos 4:6, Amos 8:11.

Help us all attend church, Heb 10:25, whenever there's a gathering for services, Bible Study, Corporate Prayer, fellowship, and outreach, Acts 2:42. As often as they eat the bread and take the cup, 1Cor 14:26, not as seldomly or if ever get around to it, amen? Grant us hunger for The Word, 1 Peter 2:2, Holy Spirit of Revelation, Eph 1:17, Flesh and Blood does not reveal Messiah, Matt 16:17, but OUR FATHER in Heaven! Father, let the Holy Spirit convict and convert, Jn 16:8, teach us all things, Jn 16:13, open minds to UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURES, Lk 24:45 -- and faith to pray and receive, Mark 11:24, (Faith comes by hearing the message preached), Rom 10:17 -- God, You will that none would perish, but all to come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 2 Tim 2:1-5, even all in authority, and all our households, Acts 16:31. When we ask You hear and if You hear, we have, 1 Jn5:14-14, so SEEK and SAVE the LOST, Lk 19:10, in Jesus' Name, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this deep burden for pastors, preachers, and the families and congregations entrusted to them, and we count it a privilege to lift these requests before our Father in Jesus' name.

We are encouraged by your desire that those who shepherd would seek God first, for Jesus said in Matt 6:33, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. A pastor who abides in daily prayer, devotion, study of the Word, and intercession for the sheep and the lost is obeying the call to be a workman who correctly handles the word of truth, and to watch for souls as one who will give account as taught in Heb 13:17. We also affirm your heart for sound teaching and for confronting sin in the church in love and truth. Scripture is clear that we are not to hate our brother in our heart but to surely rebuke our neighbor as in Lev 19:17, and to follow the pattern of Matt 18:15-17, and that those who sin are to be reproved in the sight of all as in 1 Tim 5:20, not to shame but to restore and to protect the flock. May the Lord give pastors courage to live what they preach, to visit families and house to house, and to shepherd with a lifestyle that adorns the gospel.

We also stand with you in prayer for families, members and visitors to be drawn to the gathering of the church. No one can come unless the Father who sent Jesus draws him as in John 6:44, and we are not to forsake our own assembling together as in Heb 10:25, but to continue steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and prayer as in Acts 2:42. We pray that all who hear would receive the implanted word with humility which is able to save their souls as in James 1:21, not merely as knowledge which puffs up as in 1 Cor 8:1, but by revelation of the Messiah from our Father in heaven as in Matt 16:17, with faith that comes by hearing as in Rom 10:17.

We pray together now for these things.

Father, You are our ever present help as in Ps 46:1 and Deut 4:7, and You have promised in Isa 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. We thank You for the message of Your Anointed who was crucified for our sins and who lives, for we have been crucified with Christ as in Gal 2:20. We ask that You draw our family members and loved ones to hear Your Word tonight and tomorrow and in every appointed gathering for service, Bible study, corporate prayer, fellowship and outreach. Grant them ears to hear and hearts to understand what Your Spirit is saying as in John 16:13, open their minds to understand the Scriptures as in Luke 24:45, and grant faith, repentance, salvation, the knowledge of forgiveness of sins and newness of life.

Lord, create in us all a hunger as newborn babies for the pure milk of the Word as in 1 Peter 2:2, and give the Spirit of wisdom and revelation as in Eph 1:17. Let the Holy Spirit who will teach us all things as in John 14:26 and convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment as in John 16:8 do His work in every heart. We ask for freedom to worship You in spirit and truth as in John 4:24, under the anointing of the Anointed One as in 1 John 2:20.

We ask for protection for pastors and families and every listener. Put upon them the whole armor of God as in Eph 6:10, guard them from sin and temptation as in Luke 11:4 and Matt 6:13, from evil people and impostors as in 2 Thess 3:2 and 2 Tim 3:13, from those who profess to know God but deny Him by their works as in Titus 1:16 and 2 Tim 3:5, and from the evil one himself as in John 17:15. Keep them from being destroyed for lack of knowledge as in Hos 4:6 and from a famine of hearing Your words as in Amos 8:11. Give vision lest the people perish as in Prov 29:18.

Father, uphold our pastors in intercession as Aaron and Hur upheld the hands of Moses while Joshua fought in the field as in Ex 17:8. Let our prayers be as incense before You as in Ps 141:2, let us lift up our hearts with our hands to You in the heavens as in Lam 3:41, lifting holy hands without wrath and doubting as in 1 Tim 2:8. We trust Your promise that when we ask according to Your will You hear us and we have the petitions we have asked of You as in 1 John 5:14, and that You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth as in 1 Tim 2:4 and that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance as in 2 Pet 3:9. We pray for the salvation of entire households as in Acts 16:31, that You would seek and save the lost as in Luke 19:10.

We ask that as often as we eat the bread and drink the cup we would proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes, with reverence and faith to pray and receive as in Mark 11:24, for all Your promises find their Yes in Christ as in 2 Cor 1:20. Accomplish all of this in Jesus’ name, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your heart for your pastors and for your family. Longing for shepherds to seek the Lord first in prayer, in the Word and in faithful living, and longing for loved ones to be drawn to gather, to hear and to understand what God is saying, shows such love for the church and for your household. We are joining you in prayer for both.

We hear how many burdens you named at once, for teaching and intercession, for protection from temptation and evil, for hunger for the Word and for salvation. When the list feels heavy, we have found it helps to keep prayer simple and steady. You might choose one or two pastors by name to uphold this week, and one family member to pray for by name and personally invite to come with you to the next gathering. A brief word of thanks to a pastor for his preparation, and a warm, direct invitation to family to sit with you, often does more than we expect to open the door for God to work through fellowship and worship together.

We are also praying with you for protection and for that growing hunger for the Word you described, as you continue to gather faithfully whenever the church meets.

Father, thank You for being our ever present help and for the hope we have in Christ crucified for us. We lift our pastors to You for strength and faithfulness as they seek You and care for the flock, and we lift each family member on our hearts to You, asking that You draw them, guard them from evil, and give them ears to hear and hearts to respond. Work in each life according to Your good and perfect will. In Jesus' name, amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Your burden is a right and weighty one, and it is good to bring it before the throne of grace. To seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness is the first business of every faithful preacher and of every household that would be saved, and where this is sincerely desired there is already the evidence of the Spirit's working.

I join you in prayer that the Lord will keep His servants faithful in prayer and daily devotion, in the study of the Word and in the preparation to preach it plainly, in intercession for the sheep and for the lost, and in a manner of life that adorns the doctrine. May they treat all God's Word alike, for the faith which accepts one word of God and rejects another is not faith in God at all, and may they have grace to confront sin in the church with meekness and truth, according to the Scriptures, that sound teaching may be preserved and souls may be fed. Remember that the Lord upholds those who wait upon Him, and as Aaron and Hur upheld the hands of Moses, so the prayers of the people may uphold the hands of those who minister.

For your family and for all who come within the hearing of the Word, my prayer is that the Father who alone can reveal the Son will draw them by His Spirit. No man can come except the Father draw him, and flesh and blood does not reveal the Messiah, but our Father in heaven. I pray that as the Word is preached, faith may come by hearing, for the principal matter in our salvation is faith. Faith is described as receiving Jesus. It is the empty cup placed under the flowing stream, the penniless hand held out for heavenly alms, believing on His name. We rest not upon our faith, our prayers, or our conquests of sin, but upon Jesus Christ crucified, who is all our salvation, the Author and Finisher of faith.

We are saved by faith alone, but not by a faith which is alone, for a living faith becomes a working faith by degrees, yet at first and always it is a receptive faith. We only work out our salvation as God works in us, and even the highest actions done for God are performed with the strength which God supplies. Simple faith is always the work of the Spirit, and it is by the Spirit that we continue to wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. How simple and how instantaneous is that way of salvation. It is to look unto Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth. A look does not require a moment, and whosoever looks in sincerity shall not be ashamed.

If any among you trembles and fears that his faith is too little, be of good courage. The least faith in Jesus is the gift of God and is like precious faith, though it be not like strong faith. Faith as a grain of mustard seed can do wonders, and little faith, though it be all up and then all down, is born from above and belongs to the family of the saved. It is not the measure of our faith but the sincerity of it which is the great question. A trembling faith will save if it lays hold upon a great Saviour.

So I pray that the Lord will grant to your household and to all who gather, hunger for the Word, the Holy Spirit of revelation to open minds to understand the Scriptures, conviction of sin and conversion unto Christ, repentance and newness of life, and protection from sin and temptation and the evil one. May you be found not forsaking the assembling of yourselves together, but exhorting one another, receiving the Word with meekness which is able to save the soul, and rejoicing together as a renewed family that serves the Lord. May He who wills that none should perish bring many to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth, and may every soul that seeks Him find Him to be an ever present help, faithful to hear and to answer according to His will, in Jesus' name, Amen.
