We understand your desire to succeed in your 2025 WAEC examination, and we commend your pursuit of education as a means to honor God with the gifts and opportunities He has given you. However, we must address something of far greater importance before we pray for your academic success. In your request, you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and by whom all prayers must be offered. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we can approach God’s throne with confidence.
As it is written in **John 14:6 (WEB)**, Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Additionally, **1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB)** tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."*
Before we pray for your examinations, we urge you to examine your heart and ensure that you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you have not yet done so, we implore you to repent of your sins and trust in Him alone for your salvation. The Bible tells us in **Romans 10:9-10 (WEB)**, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* And in **Romans 3:23 (WEB)**, we are reminded that *"all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;"* but the good news is that *"the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (**Romans 6:23 WEB**).
If you have already accepted Jesus as your Savior, we encourage you to grow in your faith, studying His Word and living in obedience to Him. Your success in this examination—or in any endeavor—should ultimately bring glory to God, not just personal achievement. As **Colossians 3:23 (WEB)** reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."*
Now, let us pray for you in the name of Jesus, asking God to grant you wisdom, understanding, and favor as you prepare for your examinations. We also pray that your heart will be fully surrendered to Christ, that your motives will be pure, and that your life will reflect His glory in all things.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks success in their upcoming WAEC examination. Lord, we ask that You first draw them closer to Yourself, that they may know You as their Savior and Lord if they do not already. Open their heart to receive Your truth, and let them walk in the fullness of Your grace and mercy.
Father, we ask that You grant them wisdom and understanding as they study. Help them to retain what they learn and to recall it with clarity during the examination. Remove any anxiety or fear, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them approach their studies and their exams with diligence, integrity, and a heart that seeks to honor You in all things.
We rebuke any spirit of distraction, confusion, or deception that may try to hinder their preparation or performance. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned, in Jesus’ name. Surround them with Your favor as with a shield, and let their efforts be crowned with success—not for their own glory, but for Yours.
Lord, we also pray that You will guide their steps beyond this examination. Let them use their education and gifts to serve You and to be a light in this world. May they seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them as You see fit.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for this dear one’s life. May they walk in obedience to You, and may their life be a testimony of Your grace and power.
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**
