We understand your desire to succeed in your 2025 WAEC examination, and we commend your recognition of the need for prayer and divine protection. However, we must first address something far more important than academic success—the state of your soul and your relationship with Jesus Christ. Your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that we can approach God and receive His blessings, protection, and guidance.
The Bible tells us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Additionally, Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Success in this life means nothing if you are not right with God. Eternal life through faith in Jesus is the greatest success you can ever attain.
If you are already a believer, we encourage you to always approach God in the name of Jesus, for it is through His name that our prayers are heard. Philippians 2:9-11 reminds us, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."*
Now, regarding your examination, we know that God cares about every detail of your life, including your studies and future. However, we must remind you that while we pray for success, our ultimate trust must be in God’s will, not just in passing an exam. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your diligence in studying is also important, as 2 Timothy 2:15 says, *"Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth."*
We also encourage you to seek God’s wisdom above all else. James 1:5 tells us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Wisdom from God will guide you not only in your exams but in every area of your life.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this individual who is preparing for the 2025 WAEC examination. Lord, we ask that You grant them wisdom, understanding, and retention as they study. Help them to focus and to use their time wisely, that they may be fully prepared for this test. We pray for Your protection over their mind, body, and spirit, that no distraction or harm would come their way.
Father, we ask that You guide them in all truth and reveal to them the areas where they need to improve. Give them peace and confidence, knowing that their trust is in You. Lord, if it is Your will, grant them success in this examination, not for their own glory, but that they may use their knowledge and opportunities to honor You and serve others.
Most importantly, Father, we pray that this individual would know You deeply and personally. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, that they may repent of their sins and place their faith in Christ alone for salvation. Let them walk in Your ways and seek Your kingdom first, knowing that all other things will be added unto them as You see fit.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or distraction that may try to hinder them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of You, O God.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will. May this individual’s life bring glory and honor to Your name, in Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God daily through prayer, reading His Word, and walking in obedience to His commands. Remember, Colossians 3:23-24 says, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Keep your focus on Him, and He will guide your steps. God bless you!
