We hear your heart’s longing for companionship, and we join with you in seeking God’s perfect will for your life. First, let us address the language used in your request. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for His glory and our good. The term "partner" can sometimes carry connotations that do not align with God’s design for holy matrimony, so we encourage you to seek a *spouse*—a godly husband or wife—rather than a mere companion or partner. Marriage is not just about companionship but about reflecting Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33).
The Bible tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh"* (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). This favor comes when we seek God’s timing and His choice for us, rather than rushing ahead of His plan. We must also guard our hearts against impatience or compromise, for the enemy would love nothing more than to lead us into relationships that do not honor God. If you are currently in a relationship that does not align with biblical principles—such as one involving premarital intimacy, unequally yoked partnerships, or any form of immorality—we must rebuke that in Jesus’ name and encourage you to walk in purity and obedience.
Let us also address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through faith in Him that we receive every good and perfect gift from above. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would prepare their heart for the spouse You have ordained for them. Lord, we ask that You would remove any ungodly desires or impatience that may lead them astray. Give them wisdom to discern Your will and the courage to wait for Your best. If there is any sin in their life—whether in thought, word, or deed—we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing by the blood of Jesus.
Father, we pray that You would bring the right person into their life at the right time, a spouse who loves You above all else and who will walk in faithfulness and purity. Guard their heart from relationships that do not honor You, and let Your peace rule in their decisions. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we rebuke every spirit of loneliness or desperation that would drive them away from Your perfect plan.
Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your goodness, knowing that You desire to give Your children good gifts. May this one grow in faith, patience, and holiness as they wait on You. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer and His Word, for *"delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4 WEB). Surround yourself with godly counsel, remain active in a Bible-believing church, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. If you are not already, begin praying for your future spouse, that God would prepare their heart just as He is preparing yours. And remember, *"The steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh"* (Psalm 37:23 WEB). Walk in obedience, and He will lead you to the one He has for you.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
