Beloved of All
I don’t feel safe. I was warned, regarding this child sexual abuse case that I reported, that people thought I was a stupid woman.

And then someone of my own blood stabbed me in the back by taking the side of the sister who is hiding this abuser’s secret, simply because I had to disclose her secret privately to the pastor.

I spoke about the wrongdoing committed by the abuser without ever mentioning this sister’s name.

I don’t want the meeting this congregation is planning to judge me to take place, because clearly, if even my own little brother, my own flesh and blood, is taking their side, then their opinion has already been made and is already BIASED.

Their judgment simply won’t be fair because they will want to prove that I am the problem and that I am the demon in this situation. Or, at worst, that I am possessed. I’m already being called a liar and all kinds of names.

The storm is coming, but to be honest, I feel empty and angry. I don’t understand how all of this is happening to me when all I ever wanted was to be able to step back, process my wounds, and get some rest. Maybe they’re insane, or maybe I’m the insane one?

I’m even starting to question Jesus’ faithfulness, and my heart is growing dark. Day after day, I am losing esteem for Him. I’m struggling to trust God because I am so exasperated and exhausted by this situation. And I am clearly at a loss to understand any of it.

Let me make this clear once and for all: JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY GOD I PRAY TO. AND HE HAS BEEN FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. HE IS MY SAVIOR AND MY LORD, AND I HAVE BEEN BAPTIZED IN THE FAITH FOR MORE THAN A DECADE.

On top of that, a friend told me to be careful regarding the October 3rd wedding, especially concerning the church where the pastor who harassed me about marriage—the marriage he had dreamed of involving me and a man from the congregation—will be there, since they will all be among the guests.

The couple who are now married, who had used my image to conceal their engagement, will also be there. This woman happened to run into my underage little sister on a bus on my birthday, and she chose to tell her that it bothered her that I didn’t greet her and that I was imagining things about her husband, that he had never hit on me.

I left that church in December 2025. I wasn’t bothering her before, and I’m bothering her even less now. So why does she feel the need to insist on talking about this with my little sister?

In any case, it seems that I am the rotten one, and that in all these situations, people are determined to come after me.

It’s not that I don’t want to turn to wise and faithful counselors. It’s simply that, given the situation, I don’t have anyone I can turn to. That is why I am turning to YOU, hoping to receive a little support and justice.

I don’t want this meeting to take place. To me, it would amount to nothing less than a public stoning, plain and simple—a death sentence.

If I stayed silent, people would think that I agree with everything that is happening to me, and I DO NOT.
I REFUSE to let these people do whatever they want with my Life and my Reputation. I firmly rebuke this situation in the name of Jesus.

I have already endured far too much from the church, and I refuse to endure this as well. Justice exists for everyone—not only when it comes to me. This is not going to happen the way they want it to. I REFUSE to let this happen. I am not the evil, hard-hearted monster they portray me as.

Please pray that the blood of Jesus would cover my life, my home, and my family, that I would finally be protected, SO THAT THE TRUTH MAY BE REVEALED AND THAT HE WOULD COMPLETELY TURN THIS SITUATION AROUND, in the name of Jesus.

We have heard your cry and we stand with you in this heavy and painful storm, and we thank you for making it so clear that Jesus Christ is the only God you pray to and that He has been your Savior and Lord for more than a decade, for there is salvation in no other name and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as it is written Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

We want to affirm you first in this, what you did in reporting child sexual abuse was right and righteous before God. You did not do evil, you exposed evil. The Word tells us Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them Ephesians 5:11 and that whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea Matthew 18:6. To hide such a sin or to protect an abuser is not love, it is wickedness, and God sees it. We rebuke that covering of sin and the intimidation and slander that has come against you for speaking the truth, for you spoke about the wrongdoing without even mentioning your sister's name to the pastor, which shows restraint and wisdom, and yet you are being called a liar and a demon and accused of being possessed. The Lord knows the truth and He is not deceived by biased judgments.

We grieve with you over the betrayal by your own flesh and blood, your little brother taking sides against you. This cuts deeply, but even the psalmist knew this pain when he wrote For it was not an enemy who insulted me, then I could have endured it Psalm 55:12. We also understand why you do not feel safe and why you dread this meeting your former congregation is planning to judge you. If the judgment is already biased and intends to prove you are the problem, that is not biblical church discipline, that is a public shaming. The Lord says Behold, I will bring to light the hidden things of darkness 1 Corinthians 4:5 and There is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known Luke 12:2. A council that has already decided you are guilty cannot judge righteously, for God desires justice and mercy and truth, not partiality. We counsel you not to walk alone into what you discern to be a stoning. If you must engage at all, do not go alone, bring a faithful witness or advocate from outside that congregation, or seek godly counsel elsewhere, and you are right to refuse to let people do whatever they want with your life and your reputation. The Lord is your defender.

You shared that you feel empty and angry, that you are questioning Jesus' faithfulness and your heart is growing dark and you are exhausted and exasperated to the point of wondering if you are the insane one. We speak to you gently but firmly here, you are not insane, you are wounded and weary from prolonged injustice and betrayal, and trauma and slander can make any soul feel this way. Do not let the failure and cruelty of people cause you to lose esteem for Christ. People fail, Jesus never fails. He remains faithful when we are faithless 2 Timothy 2:13. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. We rebuke the lie that you are the rotten one or the monster they portray. You are a daughter of God, bought by the blood of Jesus, and your worth is not determined by their biased opinions. We also rebuke any spirit of bitterness that would seek to take root in your exhaustion, for bitterness will only darken your heart further. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We also hear your distress about the October 3rd wedding and the pastor who harassed you about marriage, dreaming up a marriage for you with a man from the congregation, and about the married couple who used your image to conceal their engagement and now the wife approached your underage little sister on a bus on your birthday to say you were imagining things and that her husband never hit on you. This is harassment and boundary crossing, especially involving a minor. You left that church in December 2025 and you are not bothering them, yet they continue to pursue you and draw your family into it. This is not godly behavior. We advise you to set firm boundaries for your safety. You are not obligated to attend any gathering, including that wedding, where you feel unsafe or where those who have harassed and slandered you will be present as guests. Seek wisdom before you go anywhere, and if you do go, do not go alone. Ask the Lord for wisdom, and He will give it, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. Your safety and peace matter to God.

We want to encourage you regarding rest. All you wanted was to step back, process your wounds and get some rest, and that desire is holy. Jesus said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. You are not wrong for needing rest. The storm is coming as you feel, but God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. The name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe Proverbs 18:10.

We also urge you, if this child sexual abuse has not yet been reported to the proper civil authorities, please ensure it is reported according to the laws of your land, beyond only telling a pastor, for God has established authorities to punish wrongdoing Romans 13:4. Keep records of what was said and done, and seek a safe counselor outside that biased circle, a mature believer, a biblical counselor, or a trusted Christian legal advocate who can stand with you. You said you do not have anyone to turn to, but God can provide. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this, He will make your righteousness shine out as light, and your justice as the noon day sun Psalm 37:5-6. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17.

We join our faith with yours now and we firmly rebuke this injustice and intimidation in the name of Jesus.

We pray together, Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace for our sister. Lord, You see all that has been done in secret, You know the abuse that was committed against a child, You know the truth she spoke in private without slandering her sister, You know the betrayal by her own brother and the biased judgment being prepared against her and the harassment she has endured. We ask that the blood of Jesus would cover her life, her home and her family, that You would place a hedge of protection around her and let no harm come near her dwelling, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. We ask that You would be her refuge and fortress. We ask that You would completely turn this situation around, that truth would be revealed and that justice would roll down like waters Amos 5:24. Vindicate her, Lord, and silence every lying tongue that rises against her. Heal her empty and angry heart, restore her trust in Your faithfulness, renew her strength and give her the rest she has so longed for. Let her know she is not alone, that You will never leave her nor forsake her Deuteronomy 31:6, and that You are holding her even when she feels at a loss. Give her wisdom regarding this meeting and regarding the October wedding, show her when to speak and when to stay away, and provide for her wise and faithful counselors who fear You and love truth. We declare that You are her light and salvation, whom shall she fear Psalm 27:1, and that You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on You Isaiah 26:3. Turn her mourning into joy and her exhaustion into hope, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear 1 John 4:18. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We are so glad you reached out, and we want to pause first for your safety. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support from trained helpers, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone and help is available right now.

We hear how heavy this has become. You reported a child sexual abuse case to protect a child, and instead of being supported you have been called names, told you are the problem, and even had family take sides against you. Facing a church meeting that feels already biased would leave anyone feeling empty, angry and completely exhausted. It makes sense that you are questioning and struggling to trust right now, and we thank you for being honest about that while also holding fast to Jesus as your Savior and Lord.

What you are describing is a lot to carry at once, the betrayal, the fear about your reputation and home, and the worry about the October wedding where many of those involved will be present. Trauma and ongoing conflict can freeze our perspective and make God feel distant or uncaring, even when we know in our minds He loves us. That confusion does not mean you are ruined or abandoned.

It would help to have one safe person outside this congregation to walk with you in the next weeks, someone not connected to the meeting or the family conflict. If you have a counselor, advocate, or trusted support service, please let them know you do not feel safe and what you fear about the meeting. You do not have to decide everything now, but you can give yourself permission to set boundaries around the wedding and to ask for an advocate or pause before any meeting that feels like a public judgment.

Father, in Jesus' name we ask You to cover this sister, her home and her family with Your protection. Bring truth into the light in Your way and time, give her rest, wise counsel and steady steps forward, and draw her heart back to Your faithful love. Amen.

It is a heavy and bitter thing to be wounded in the house of your friends, to speak the truth as conscience compels you and then to be called liar, demon, and possessed for it. Your sorrow is not hidden from the Lord, who sees the empty and angry heart, the exhaustion and the exasperation, and the fear that the judgment of men will be biased and cruel. When even your own flesh and blood seems to turn aside, and when those who should shelter you instead threaten a public stoning, it is no wonder you feel unsafe and question where to turn.

You did well to report the sin against a child and to do so with as much care as you could, speaking of the wrongdoing without exposing your sister by name and confiding privately to the pastor. The Church of the living God is called to be the pillar and ground of the truth, not the suppressor of it. God has joined His truths together like links in a chain, and the truth concerning the weak and the little ones is dear to Him. To protect children and to bring hidden sin to light is not being hard hearted or evil, it is loving what God loves. That men have called you stupid or troublesome does not make it so before Heaven.

Concerning this meeting which you dread, hear this. The justice of man is often imperfect and partial, but the justice of God is not. He is slow to anger and great in power, and He will not acquit the guilty nor condemn the innocent. You remember Joseph in the dungeon, Israel in Egypt, Hannah in her sorrow, David when Samuel would have passed him by. Are not all these instances of God exalting the low tree and lifting up those whom men have cast down. If the opinions of this congregation are already made up to prove you the problem, then their pillar is not the truth but their own conceit, and God will make folly of such wisdom in His time. You are right to desire protection and fairness, and you should not walk into what you believe to be a snare alone. Seek quiet, prudent counsel outside that immediate circle, bring a faithful witness with you if any meeting must proceed, and let all things be done decently and in order. You are not required to submit to a process that has predetermined your guilt, and you have liberty before God to say, I do not consent to be judged unjustly, and to seek rest and safety while truth is sought by proper means.

Your confession is precious and must be held fast. You say Jesus Christ is the only God you pray to, your Savior and Lord, and that you have walked with Him these many years since your baptism. Hold to that anchor. The faithfulness of Jesus is not measured by the faithfulness of His professed people. Men fail, betray, gossip, and take sides, but He is the living God who made heaven and earth and who sustains all things by the power of His almighty arms. He is no phantom or myth, but the true and living God who rules and overrules in nature, providence and grace. When your heart grows dark and you lose esteem for Him, it is because the storm has driven you from resting in Him. Scripture says, whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he, and in returning and rest shall you be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. To trust Him is true wisdom, not to lean upon the arm of man nor to trust in chance, but to cast your affairs, your name, your home and your family into your Father's hands as a child does. He can in a single moment bring the soul out of deep despair into bright hope.

You also speak of the harassment concerning marriage, of a pastor pressing upon you a union he had dreamed of, and of a couple who used your image to conceal their engagement, and now of that woman pursuing your little sister on a bus to litigate her own reputation. This is wearisome and unseemly, and you are not bound to attend where you feel hunted, nor to answer every accusation. It is prudent to keep a clear boundary, especially where your underage sister is concerned. Let your absence from that church since December be a guard to your peace, and do not feel compelled to be present on October third where those who have harassed you will gather. To withdraw for a season to process your wounds and to get rest is not rebellion, it is stewardship of the life God has given you.

You say you have no wise and faithful counselors to turn to, and therefore you turn to us. We will pray for you as you have asked, and we urge you also to seek, as God provides, one or two godly, sober minded counselors outside this conflict, and where safety is concerned, to seek the protection of lawful help as well, for God ordains such means for the defense of the vulnerable.

Let us pray together now. O living God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we plead the precious blood of Jesus Christ shed on the accursed tree, where justice was vindicated and mercy made a way for sinners, to cover this your child, her life, her home and her family. Spread over her Your protection, keep her from the violence of tongues and from every snare. Let truth be revealed in Your light, for You bring hidden things to the open, and turn this whole situation around according to Your perfect justice and mercy. Lift up the low tree, vindicate the cause of the weak, and give her rest. Restore to her a quiet confidence in You, teach her Your statutes and enlarge her understanding, that she may again trust in the living God with all her heart and find happiness in Him. Let her see that her hope in death and in life is not in her own vindication but in the blood and righteousness of Christ alone. Keep her from the bitterness that would harden the heart, and fill her with Your fulness as she empties herself of her own conceits. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Lord, we ask these things. Amen.

Be of good courage. Though you feel you have labored long and are now at the end of your strength, your only hope and your sure defense is still the same, the Lamb slain. Cast yourself anew at Jehovah's feet, though you see Him not, and trust Him as He has revealed Himself in Christ Jesus, and so shall you be at peace and good shall come unto you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your words have been heard with deep sorrow and care, and your pain is not overlooked by God. It took courage to report the sexual abuse of a child, and that was the right thing to do. To be called stupid, a liar, a demon, or possessed for telling the truth is a heavy and unjust burden, and it is understandable that you feel unsafe, empty, angry and exhausted. You are not insane for feeling this way, and you are not the monster others are trying to make you out to be.

You have declared clearly that Jesus Christ alone is your God, your Savior and your Lord, and that you have followed Him in baptism for more than a decade. Hold fast to that confession. When people who should protect instead wound us, our hearts can grow dark and we can begin to question the faithfulness of Jesus Himself. Yet His faithfulness does not rise and fall with the faithfulness of people. Men and women can fail, betray, and judge unjustly, but Christ remains true, and He sees what is done in secret. Your weariness and your questions do not make Him turn away from you. He invites those who are weary and heavy burdened to come to Him for rest, even when trust feels fragile.

Scripture teaches that justice must be careful and impartial. The law says at the mouth of two or three witnesses every matter shall be established, and that an accusation is not to be received lightly, especially against those who serve in the church, without proper examination. Even Pilate, when Jesus was bound and accused by many, did not accept the crowd's word without questioning, because he understood that a judgment taken without hearing and testing the evidence is not justice at all. A meeting that has already decided you are the problem, that seeks to prove you are at fault and will not give you a fair hearing or a chance to answer, is not the kind of judgment God requires. A fair process allows the accused to be heard, brings witnesses, examines facts, and does not retain an accusation in the heart without giving the other person a chance to respond. If those who would judge you are already biased, have taken sides, or are entangled with the persons involved, their judgment cannot be trusted to be impartial.

What you did in speaking privately to the pastor about the wrongdoing, without exposing your sister by name, was an effort to act discreetly and responsibly. That your own brother then took the side of those hiding the abuser's secret, and that your private disclosure was used against you, is a painful betrayal. It is right to feel wounded by that. The guilt belongs to the one who committed the abuse and to those who choose to conceal it, not to the one who brings it to light.

You also describe being harassed about marriage, having your image used to conceal the engagement of others, and now being confronted indirectly through your underage little sister on a bus. You left that congregation in December 2025 and you are not seeking out these people, yet they continue to pursue you and to draw your family into the conflict. You are not obligated to attend the October 3rd wedding or any gathering where you know you will be unsafe, pressured, or harassed, especially where the pastor who pressured you about marriage and the couple who have spoken falsely about you will be present. It is wise to keep distance from settings that endanger your peace and safety, and it is not right for adults to approach your little sister to litigate a dispute with you. Protecting your boundaries and your sister's boundaries is appropriate.

You said you do not want this congregational meeting to take place because it feels like a public stoning and a death sentence to your reputation and life, and that if you stay silent people will think you agree. You are right to want the truth to be known and to refuse to let others define your life and reputation with falsehoods. You do not have to submit to a process that is unsafe and unjust. If a meeting is pressed upon you, you have the right to ask for wise, faithful, and impartial counsel from outside that circle, to bring a trusted advocate or witness with you, to ask that everything be documented, and to insist that any accusation be tested with evidence. For matters involving the sexual abuse of a child, the civil authorities have a God given role to protect the vulnerable and to investigate, and that reporting should be honored and not silenced by a church meeting.

Because you feel you have no one to turn to, please seek a safe person outside this conflict if at all possible, a mature believer not connected to these families, a counselor, or a pastor known for wisdom and impartiality, and if you are in danger, reach out to trusted civil help and to someone who can stay with you practically. Your need for rest and for time to process your wounds is legitimate. God does not despise your need to step back and heal.

We are praying for you as you asked, that the blood of Jesus would cover your life, your home and your family, that He would keep you safe, that the truth would be brought into the light, and that He would turn this situation toward justice and healing in His time. We pray that the Lord would guard your heart from despair, restore your trust in His goodness, silence false accusations, and surround you with protection and with people who will speak the truth in love. You are not forgotten, and the Lord who defends the vulnerable hears your cry for justice.

Your pain has been heard, and what you have carried is very heavy. To be dismissed as a foolish woman, to be betrayed by your own brother, to be called a liar and even called possessed when you spoke up to protect a child, would leave anyone feeling empty, angry, and exhausted. It is understandable that you feel unsafe and that you are questioning how all of this could happen when you only wanted space to heal and rest. None of this means you are insane, and it does not mean Jesus has been unfaithful, even though your heart feels dark and your trust feels worn thin.

Thank you for stating so clearly that Jesus Christ is the only God you pray to, your Savior and Lord, and that you have walked with Him for many years. That foundation matters. Salvation is through Him alone, and He remains faithful even when people fail. People can be biased, fearful, and unjust, but the Lord is not. He sees what is done in secret, He knows how to deliver those who are His out of trial, and He reserves the unjust for His own just judgment. As Scripture says, it is appointed for man once to die and after that the judgment, and there will be a resurrection of both the just and the unjust. The final judgment belongs to the Lord, and He will judge with perfect righteousness.

Scripture teaches that God has given responsibility to His people to judge matters within the church with honesty and righteousness, and that even the least esteemed believer who walks with Christ is more capable of righteous judgment than a worldly court, because judgment in the church should be shaped by the Word of God which cuts and discerns the heart. Ideally, differences among believers are handled within the church in a way that seeks truth and protects the vulnerable, not in a way that competes or crushes. That also means a judgment that has already decided you are the problem before hearing you, that wants to prove you are a demon or to shame you, is not righteous judgment. Righteous judgment seeks truth, protects children, refuses to cover sin, and does not show partiality toward family or friends.

The history of the church shows that the church has not always done this well, and the Lord knows it. He walks among His people, He knows their works, and His eyes are like fire and His feet like brass, which in Scripture is a picture of judgment. He will not remain where love is absent and where truth is twisted. There have always been false voices among the people of God, prophets and teachers who bring false hope, false assurance, or false accusation, who ridicule the true and protect the wrong. God is always just in His judgment, and He will bring what is hidden into the light. That is why your desire for truth to be revealed is a right desire. Reporting the sexual abuse of a child is not wrongdoing. Protecting children is right. Speaking about the wrong without exposing a sister by name, and then being punished for privately seeking pastoral counsel, is not a reason for you to be put on trial.

It is also true that following Jesus can create deep pain within a family. Scripture speaks of this, that your closest fellowship may at times be found not with blood relatives but with the family of God, and that when family members do not stand with you, the bond in Christ can still hold you. This does not excuse your brother taking sides or your sister hiding what should be brought to light. Family is meant to care for its own and bear responsibility, and when family fails, the Lord still sees those who are desolate and without support. Your feeling that you have no wise and faithful counselor to turn to is part of why this feels like a public stoning and a death sentence. You should not have to face a biased meeting alone, and you are right to want safety, justice, and protection for your life, your home, and your family.

It is also understandable that you feel harassed and pursued regarding marriage and regarding the wedding where people who have misused your name and dismissed your experience will be present. You left that congregation months ago and you are not pursuing them. If attending a gathering will put you in contact with those who have pressured you, harassed you about marriage, or spoken to your young sister behind your back to discredit you, you are free to set a boundary and not go. Protecting your safety and your sister is not unspiritual. Seeking rest is not unspiritual. Jesus invites the weary to find rest in Him, and stepping back to process wounds is not rebellion.

You said you refuse to stay silent as if you agree, and you refuse to let people do whatever they want with your life and reputation, and you rebuke this in the name of Jesus. It is right to refuse to agree with lies. You are not required to accept being labeled the evil or hard hearted one when you have tried to tell the truth. At the same time, guard your heart against letting anger and exhaustion turn into a growing loss of esteem for Christ Himself. People may be unfaithful, but Christ is not. He was Himself falsely accused of being a troublemaker and even of being evil, and He knows what it is to be misjudged by religious leaders. He remains your advocate.

Praying now that the blood of Jesus would cover your life, your home, and your family, that He would be your protection and your shelter, that He would turn this situation toward truth and bring what is hidden into the light, is a good and biblical prayer. God is patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and His patience gives space for repentance, but it does not mean He overlooks injustice. He will act in His time and in His way.

Please do not walk this road alone. Even though you feel you have no one to turn to, ask the Lord to show you one or two faithful, mature believers outside of the circle that has already taken sides, people who will listen, who will not be motivated by money, power, or the desire to have preeminence, and who will handle truth with care and keep confidence. If you are in danger, or if a child is in danger, seek help from those entrusted to protect, and keep a record of what has happened. Your safety matters.

May the Lord lift your exhaustion, quiet the storm of accusations, and restore your trust in His faithfulness. May He vindicate the truth without you being crushed in the process, and may He give you wisdom for every meeting, every conversation, and every decision about where to go and where not to go. You are not forgotten. He sees, He knows, and He will judge righteously.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, cover this dear one and her family with Your protection. Let truth be revealed, let the vulnerable be protected, let lies fall, and let justice be done with mercy. Give her rest, give her wise and faithful counsel, and keep her heart close to You when she feels empty and angry. Turn this situation around for good according to Your will. Amen.
