Parents marrage of 30+ years to be restored....

PLEASE PRAY for my parents as they have been separated (in the name of "working through some issues")......after 30+ Years of Marriage!

The problem is this "break" has now turned into something appearing more & more like a permanent separation......as my mum has become harder & harder to please for reconciliation to be a reality, to a painful level!

My mother comes from a famous well-off English family, & even though my folks both gave their lives to the Lord almost 40 years ago, there has always been a kind of family pride within my mum which has resulted in an unspoken looking down towards my dad by her.

In recent months this has surfaced in the blatant form of feeling & being entitled to my dad's extraordinary generosity towards her being taken as "long awaited payment" for all the years my mum had to suffer or "put up with" from times of lack over the years!

I honestly can't believe what I'm seeing bubble to the surface in my mum.....such ungratefulness, such selfish entitlement, it's hard to believe! When my mum has always appeared as this tender hearted, giving, gentle Christian woman!

I know my dad's not perfect, none of us are (though we all should be trying to be based on Christ' instruction), & I know my dad is still deeply in love with my mum & desires to be reunited in their marriage. My dad's problem is he needs deliverance through prayer of always needing to be "doing something".....like ADHD style he struggles to just sit still & rest!

So he has always by nature been a wheeler/dealer..... he used to have an antiques shop in Sydney with a mate when he was in his 20s, then a bicycle shop later in life, & in recent years a bargain hunter (garage sales etc) & sells things online.

So my mum has always taken it personal (like he never wanted to be home with her) but instead of her making any effort to go out & join him.....she only wanted to be more of a home body, & even now she only likes going out to go leisurely shopping & drink Coffee eat cake at Cafes etc.

So for there to be reconciliation at this point will take MIRACLES!!
1) Both my parents to get revelation from God about what they each need to change for their marriage to be rescued.

2) Both becoming less selfish (especially my mum) who still thinks my dad "owes" her for past times of lack over the years!

3) They would both get revelations from God that they are 'One Flesh' unto God under Marriage Covenant.....& thus incomplete without the other!

4) That the Lord would help my dad to be peaceful, calm, & have patience.

5) That the Lord would reignite their hearts to be ON FIRE for the Lord Jesus with their first love, & reignite their love/passion for one another again too!

6) That the Lord would remove any hardness if heart in each of them, & give them both a soft & tender hearts like the Lord.

7) That the enemy would be defeated in their lives, that the Lord would turn around anything the enemy has done to try to destroy them or their marriage, & He would restore their ministry to others as evangelists who seek & save the lost (give them the heart to discipleship new believers again like after they first got saved).

8) That the Lord would open their eyes to see one another as God sees each of them through His eyes, that any criticism would cease, & they would see all the positives in each other.

9) That the Lord would show them through revelation their combined value, wealth, & strength by being together.

10) That the Lord would prosper them with great wealth, favour & blessing when they are in unity together.....in one accord!

We will ask God to help them find their satisfaction and fulfillment in Christ alone.

We are also concerned about the lack of mutual effort and understanding in their relationship. It is crucial for both parties to work towards reconciliation and to make an effort to understand and support each other. As it says in Ephesians 4:32, "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

We will pray for your parents to have a revelation of their oneness in Christ and their need for each other. As it says in Genesis 2:24, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." We will ask God to help them see the value and strength in their unity and to work towards being reunited as one flesh.

We will also pray for God to reignite their love and passion for Him and for each other. As it says in Revelation 2:4-5, "But I have this against you, that you left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lamp stand out of its place, unless you repent." We will ask God to help them return to their first love and to rekindle the flame of their love for each other.

Lastly, we will pray for God to prosper them with great wealth, favor, and blessing when they are in unity together. As it says in Psalm 133:1-3, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, that ran down on the beard, even Aaron’s beard; that came down on the edge of his robes; like the dew of Hermon, that descends on the hills of Zion: for there Yahweh gives the blessing, even life forever more."

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.
