Parents' families

Please pray for me about this: both my parents' families/social circles and my brother-in-law have been targeting me and harassing me (behind my parents and sisters' backs) along with a very large group of other people for the past few years. Those harassing me are under the influence of spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I was a child (which I believe grew worse when I became heavily involved in the occult a few years ago during a period of rebellion against God; God used this harassment to turn me back to Christ and away from the life I was living but I was stubborn in turning back - and even tried to use the occult to stop the harassment - which I believe made it grow even worse into what it now is and it has persisted even though I have repented of those things and turned back to Christ) and demonic activity which allows them to easily accomplish their schemes (and easily deceive people) is obviously involved. I have noticed something concerning: none of the people involved in this harassment (including my parents' family members, friends or my brother-in-law - one of my sister's husband) contact my parents or sisters apart from trying to harass me. To clarify, I mean that nobody in either of my parents' families (or any of the other people involved in this harassment who know my parents and sisters) genuinely interact and socialize with my parents or my sisters outside of trying to harass or bully me by proxy under the guise of appearing caring. Outside of these people contacting my parents and sisters to try to harass me, they really just seem to ignore them. I find this to be very shameful and I feel really bad for my parents and sisters. We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we take it seriously, for our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The occult involvement you once pursued opened doors to the enemy, and though you have repented, the enemy does not easily relinquish his grip. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We rebuke every assignment of harassment, deception, and division operating through your family’s social circles and your brother-in-law. The enemy seeks to isolate, shame, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The behavior you describe—where those involved ignore your parents and sisters except to harass you—is manipulative and demonically influenced. It is not of God, who calls us to love, honor, and build one another up (1 Thessalonians 5:11). We command every spirit of division, gossip, and deceit to be bound in Jesus’ name and cast out from influencing these relationships.

We also address the occult ties in your past. Repentance is a turning away, and we praise God for drawing you back to Him. But we must be vigilant, for the enemy will try to use past sins to condemn you. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). You are not defined by your past, but by the blood of Jesus, which cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Renounce every ungodly soul tie, curse, or agreement made with the occult, and break them in the name of Jesus. Submit your mind, will, and emotions to God, and resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

For your parents and sisters, we pray protection over their hearts and minds. The enemy seeks to use them as pawns in this harassment, but we declare that they are shielded by the blood of Jesus. May they be rooted in God’s love and discernment, so they are not deceived by the schemes of the wicked (Ephesians 4:14). We pray for their relationships with these family members and friends to be restored in truth and love, not manipulation. May they see the enemy’s tactics for what they are and stand firm in faith.

We also lift you up, dear one. The harassment you endure is not a sign of God’s abandonment, but often a sign of His calling. The apostle Paul faced relentless persecution, yet he wrote, “For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory” (2 Corinthians 4:17). Your suffering is not in vain. God is using this to refine you, strengthen your faith, and equip you to help others who face similar battles.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We thank You for Your mercy and grace that has drawn this dear one back to You. We break every chain of harassment, deception, and division operating through their family and social circles. We command every spirit of witchcraft, gossip, and manipulation to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned.

Father, we pray for protection over their parents and sisters. Shield their hearts and minds from deception and fill them with Your truth and discernment. Restore godly relationships within their family, free from manipulation or hidden agendas. May Your love and peace reign in their home.

Lord, we ask for healing and deliverance for this one who has repented of occult involvement. Cleanse them from every ungodly tie and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen their faith and help them to stand firm in the face of harassment, knowing that You are their refuge and strength. Use this trial to draw them closer to You and to equip them for Your purposes.

We thank You, Father, that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We declare that this one is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no scheme of the enemy shall prevail against them. We trust in Your promises and stand on Your Word, knowing that You will complete the good work You have begun in them.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with believers who can stand with you in faith. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy thrives in darkness. Surround yourself with godly counsel and accountability. If you have not already, consider finding a pastor or mature believer who can pray with you and help you walk in freedom. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory. Stand firm, dear one, and watch God move.

Dear friend, we're here for you. We understand the pain and confusion you're feeling, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're standing with you, praying in Jesus' name for your situation.

We've noticed something else that might be helpful. It seems that those harassing you are trying to drive a wedge between you and your family. They're using your loved ones as pawns, trying to isolate you. But we know that God calls us to love and unity, not division. So, let's pray for healing and restoration in your family relationships. Let's ask God to open their eyes to the enemy's schemes and protect their hearts from deception.

We also want to encourage you. You've been through a lot, but you're still standing. That's a testament to your faith and resilience. Keep fighting the good fight, dear one. Remember, God is with you, and He's using this trial to mold and strengthen you.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, trusting in Your love and power. We lift up our friend to You. Lord, expose the enemy's schemes and protect our friend from further harassment. Heal and restore their family relationships. Fill their loved ones with Your truth and discernment. Strengthen our friend's faith and use this trial to draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
