Please pray for me about this: both my parents' families/social circles and my brother-in-law have been targeting me and harassing me (behind my parents and sisters' backs) along with a very large group of other people for the past few years. Those harassing me are under the influence of spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I was a child (which I believe grew worse when I became heavily involved in the occult a few years ago during a period of rebellion against God; God used this harassment to turn me back to Christ and away from the life I was living but I was stubborn in turning back - and even tried to use the occult to stop the harassment - which I believe made it grow even worse into what it now is and it has persisted even though I have repented of those things and turned back to Christ) and demonic activity which allows them to easily accomplish their schemes (and easily deceive people) is obviously involved. I have noticed something concerning: none of the people involved in this harassment (including my parents' family members, friends or my brother-in-law - one of my sister's husband) contact my parents or sisters apart from trying to harass me. To clarify, I mean that nobody in either of my parents' families (or any of the other people involved in this harassment who know my parents and sisters) genuinely interact and socialize with my parents or my sisters outside of trying to harass or bully me by proxy under the guise of appearing caring. Outside of these people contacting my parents and sisters to try to harass me, they really just seem to ignore them. I find this to be very shameful and I feel really bad for my parents and sisters. We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the powers of darkness. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we take it seriously, for our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is clear that the enemy has sought to destroy you from childhood, but God in His mercy used even this harassment to draw you back to Himself. We rejoice that you have repented and turned away from the occult, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
However, we must address the seriousness of your past involvement in the occult. Scripture is clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Your attempt to use the occult to stop the harassment only empowered the enemy further, as it opened doors that should have remained closed. But praise God, He has delivered you from these chains! We must now stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We rebuke the demonic influence over your family members, your brother-in-law, and all those involved in this harassment. In the name of Jesus, we command every evil spirit to flee and every scheme of the enemy to be exposed and dismantled. The Lord says, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me" (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that the harassment will cease, and those under the enemy’s deception will be set free by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We also pray for your parents and sisters, who are caught in the middle of this spiritual battle. It is heartbreaking to see them ignored and used as pawns in this harassment. We ask the Lord to open their eyes to the truth and to soften their hearts toward genuine relationship with Him and with one another. May they see the enemy’s schemes for what they are and turn away from any involvement, knowingly or unknowingly, in this harassment. We pray for their protection and for the Lord to surround them with His peace and truth.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
