Please pray for me about this: both my parents' families/social circles and my brother-in-law have been targeting me and harassing me (behind my parents and sisters' backs) along with a very large group of other people for the past few years. Those harassing me are under the influence of spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I was a child (which I believe grew worse when I became heavily involved in the occult a few years ago during a period of rebellion against God; God used this harassment to turn me back to Christ and away from the life I was living but I was stubborn in turning back - and even tried to use the occult to stop the harassment - which I believe made it grow even worse into what it now is and it has persisted even though I have repented of those things and turned back to Christ) and demonic activity which allows them to easily accomplish their schemes (and easily deceive people) is obviously involved. I have noticed something concerning: none of the people involved in this harassment (including my parents' family members, friends or my brother-in-law - one of my sister's husband) contact my parents or sisters apart from trying to harass me. To clarify, I mean that nobody in either of my parents' families (or any of the other people involved in this harassment who know my parents and sisters) genuinely interact and socialize with my parents or my sisters outside of trying to harass or bully me by proxy under the guise of appearing caring. Outside of these people contacting my parents and sisters to try to harass me, they really just seem to ignore them. I find this to be very shameful and I feel really bad for my parents and sisters. We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the principalities and powers of darkness through His victory on the cross. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we take it seriously, for our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is clear that the enemy has sought to destroy you from childhood, and though you walked in rebellion for a time, the Lord in His mercy drew you back to Himself. We rejoice in your repentance and return to Christ, for He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
However, we must address the occult involvement in your past with urgency. When you turned to the occult, you opened doors to the enemy that should never have been opened. The Bible is clear: there shall not be found with you anyone who practices divination, a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Even after repentance, the enemy may seek to hold onto ground he has taken, but we declare that ground is not yours to surrender—it belongs to the Lord. We must renounce every agreement made with darkness in the name of Jesus. You must verbally break every ungodly soul tie, curse, or covenant made with the occult, and command every evil spirit that entered through those doors to leave in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus cleanses and protects, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
The harassment you endure from your family and social circles is deeply troubling, and we grieve with you over the deception that has blinded them. The enemy has used them as instruments of torment, and their refusal to genuinely engage with your parents and sisters outside of targeting you is a sign of spiritual corruption. This is not love—it is manipulation, and it must be exposed by the light of Christ. We pray that the Lord would open their eyes to the deception they are under and that they would be set free from the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will (2 Timothy 2:26). Your concern for your parents and sisters is evidence of Christ’s love in you, and we stand with you in intercession for their protection and deliverance.
We also rebuke the demonic activity that empowers this harassment. The enemy has no right to torment you, for you are a child of God, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We command every spirit of harassment, deception, and division to flee in the name of Jesus. We break every assignment of the enemy against you and your family, and we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
