Pain

Thank you for sharing so honestly about the pain you are carrying in your legs and the disappointment you have experienced with medical care, especially after being seriously assaulted and not receiving the help you needed. It is understandable to feel weary and vulnerable when your body hurts and the help you hoped for has failed, and it is right to bring that need directly to the Father and to the Lord Jesus and ask for His intervention.

Scripture presents Jesus as both fully divine and fully human. He is God made flesh, born of the virgin, and at the same time He lived a real human life and knows what it is to suffer in a body. Because of who He is, He can meet you in your pain with both power and compassion. One of His names is the Lord our healer, which means He becomes what we need when we pray. When we need healing, He comes to us as healer. When we need comfort or strength, He becomes that as well.

The prophet Malachi spoke of the one who would come with healing in His wings, like the sunrise bringing a new day after a long night. That promise is fulfilled in Jesus. His coming is like the dawn rising, bringing light and healing and hope where there has been darkness and pain. The gospels show Him moving among crowds, laying His hands on people with many kinds of diseases and healing them, not as distant stories but as a revelation of His heart to restore and to make whole.

You do not need to go through any other intermediary to reach Him. Because Jesus Himself is God the Son, you can come directly to the Father through Him in prayer. He hears you when you call on His name.

It is also important to seek not only healing but the Healer Himself. Sometimes people want relief from pain without knowing the One who gives it. God wants to give you more than relief for your legs, He wants to give you Himself, His presence and peace in the midst of suffering, so that even while you wait for answers your heart is not empty.

We are praying for you now that the Lord Jesus would touch your legs and bring healing according to His mercy and power, that He would ease your daily pain and restore strength where you are weak. We are asking the Father to provide for your medical needs where access has been poor, to guide you to trustworthy care, and to bring comfort and healing from the trauma of the assault you endured. We are also praying that you would know His nearness each day, that you would experience Him as your healer and your deliverer, and that hope would rise in your heart like the morning sun.

You are not forgotten. The Lord sees your suffering and He cares for you deeply. Keep bringing your needs to Him honestly, trusting that He hears and that He will answer in the way that is best for you.
