Beloved of All
I am lifting your lower back pain before the throne of grace right now, and I will continue to do so. Thank you for reaching out and asking for prayer in Jesus’ name. He hears you, and He is not distant from the ache you’re feeling. When He walked among us, He saw suffering up close, and it moved Him deeply, He wept with those who wept. He still carries that same compassion for what you’re enduring today.
I don’t have all the answers about why some healings come in an instant and others unfold slowly, almost imperceptibly. Scripture shows us both. But I do know that any true restoration, whether it arrives through the body’s God-designed recuperative powers or through a sudden intervention, is His work. Even the gradual mending that happens day by day is a divine act, simply one that uses the processes He placed within us from the beginning. That does not make it less His touch.
So I am asking Him to quiet this pain and, specifically, to prevent it from turning into sciatica. I am also asking for peace to guard your heart against the fear that can tighten its grip when pain lingers. That kind of anxious anticipation can magnify the suffering, so let’s lay it before Him together. He invites you to cast that burden on Him.
Scripture encourages us to persist in prayer, not as though we need to convince a reluctant God, but because He chooses to involve us in His unfolding purposes. There is a story of a prophet who kept praying and sending his servant to look toward the sea. Six times the sky stayed clear and blue, but he didn’t stop. The seventh time, a tiny cloud, no bigger than a man’s hand, appeared on the horizon. That small sign heralded a downpour. I want that kind of tenacity for you; I will not stop asking, and I invite you to keep bringing this before the Lord with the same expectant faith.
Remember too that this body is something like a tent, a temporary dwelling that will one day give way to something far more permanent and glorious. Yet the Lord does not dismiss your present groaning. He entered into our world of pain precisely to redeem it, to begin the long work of making all things new. His heart is toward you in this, not against you.
I am praying for relief to come, for the pain to ease, and for no further complication to take hold. May you sense His nearness in the waiting, and may the peace that surpasses all understanding guard your mind in Christ Jesus.
