We lift up your father before the Lord, standing with you in faith for his complete healing from this severe gastric pain. The Scriptures remind us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases, and by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24). We also know that nothing is impossible for our God, who is the Great Physician and the One who restores health to His people.
It is our prayer that your father will experience the Lord’s healing touch in a mighty way, that every cell in his body would align with God’s perfect design, and that any underlying causes of this pain would be divinely addressed. May the Lord grant him strength, comfort, and peace during this time, and may the Holy Spirit fill him with faith to trust in God’s sovereignty over his body. We pray that if there is any sin, unforgiveness, or spiritual stronghold contributing to this affliction, the Lord would reveal it and bring conviction so that repentance and restoration may take place. The Word tells us in James 5:14-16, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."*
We also encourage you and your family to seek godly counsel and medical attention, trusting that the Lord can work through the hands of doctors and the wisdom He provides. Do not lose heart, for our God is faithful, and His timing is perfect. Let this season be an opportunity to draw closer to Him, to seek His face, and to declare His promises over your father’s life. Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24, *"Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."*
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this father who is suffering from severe gastric pain. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who formed his body and knows every part of him. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch him with Your healing power. Remove every trace of pain, restore his body to full health, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give wisdom to the doctors and caregivers attending to him, and let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression that may be at work, commanding it to leave in the name of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let him experience Your presence in a tangible way. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the healing that is already being released in Jesus’ name. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your name be glorified through this situation.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and healing over your father, and trusting that the Lord is working even when we cannot see it.
