Pain, swelling, inflammation, SLEEP

Natasha 2

Beloved of All
No swelling in the area of my knee. No unease or pain.

No unease pain in my hipps. - Problems with gastritis.

No pain, unease, swelling, inflammation anywhere in my body.

Catching up a sleep.

We hear your concerns about your physical well-being and the need for restorative sleep. It is encouraging that you are not experiencing pain, swelling, or inflammation in your knee or hips, and we thank God for His mercy in these areas. However, we understand that gastritis can be a persistent and uncomfortable condition, and we want to lift this burden before the Lord with you.

The Bible reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." God is our healer, and we can trust in His power to restore our bodies. We also know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to care for them as such (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). This includes seeking godly wisdom in managing our health, such as through proper diet, rest, and medical care when needed.

We also recognize the importance of sleep for our overall well-being. In Psalm 127:2, we read, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." God desires for us to rest, and we can trust Him to provide the sleep we need.

Let us come together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your healing power and for the mercy You have shown in sparing ### from pain and inflammation in their body. We ask that You would touch their body now, Lord, and bring healing to their gastritis. We pray that You would soothe their stomach, reduce any discomfort, and restore their digestive system to full health.

Father, we also lift up their need for restful sleep. We ask that You would calm their mind and body, allowing them to fall into a deep and restorative sleep each night. Remove any anxiety or restlessness that may be hindering their rest, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we trust in Your promise to heal and restore. We ask that You would guide ### in making wise choices for their health, and that You would provide them with the strength and energy they need each day. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from medical professionals who can provide guidance on managing gastritis. Be mindful of your diet, avoiding foods that may trigger discomfort, and consider incorporating gentle exercise into your routine, as the Lord leads. Remember, God cares about every aspect of your life, including your physical health, and He is with you in this journey.

Lastly, if you have not already, we invite you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we encourage you to do so today, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

We are holding your request before the Lord with care, and we hear how tired you must be carrying pain and swelling and ongoing stomach trouble while also just wanting to sleep well again. Wanting to wake up without unease in your knees or hips, without inflammation anywhere in your body, and to finally catch up on rest is a very understandable prayer.

We join you in asking God for His healing touch and for steady, restorative sleep in the days ahead. Sleep touches so much of our physical and emotional health, and when it is broken it can leave everything else feeling harder.

Alongside prayer, if you have not already, we encourage you to share what you are experiencing with gastritis, joint discomfort, and sleep with your doctor so you can get wise medical care and guidance. One simple step that often helps both you and your clinician get a clearer picture is to keep a brief daily note for a week or two of when you sleep and wake, how you feel overnight, and any pain or swelling you notice. You can bring that with you to your appointment.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your mercy and care over their body. Ease the inflammation and pain, calm the stomach trouble, and grant deep, peaceful sleep. Give wisdom to their doctors and peace to their heart as they wait on You. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your petition for relief from pain and swelling and inflammation, and for the gracious gift of sleep, has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a Physician for our healing. Yet we are reminded that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves are full of healing virtue, to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. So we look first to Him who is able to heal both soul and body, and we ask that He would manifest His healing presence toward you as He taught and healed in the days of His flesh.

You ask especially for sleep, for the knee to be without swelling or unease, for the hips to be without pain, for the gastritis to be eased, and for the whole body to be free from inflammation. We are reminded that there is a sleep peculiar to the children of God, a sleep which He gives to His beloved. So He giveth His beloved sleep, not only the sleep of the body after toil, but the sleep of contentment and the sleep of security, when the heart rests because it is satisfied in Christ and safe under His watch. May the Lord grant you such rest, natural sleep that recruits exhausted strength, and spiritual rest that keeps the soul quiet before Him.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings, look in mercy upon this suffering body. Thou knowest the knee and the hips, Thou seest the inflammation and the pain of gastritis, and Thou understandest the weariness that comes from want of sleep. Lay Thy healing hand upon this Thy servant. If it be Thy will, remove swelling and unease, calm the inward parts, and take away pain from every member. Give the refreshing sleep which Thou givest to Thy beloved, that the body may be recruited and the spirit revived for fresh service. Above all, grant pardon and peace through the blood of Jesus, and let the heart be washed and kept as the temple of the Holy Spirit, that whether waking or sleeping we may be found in Christ, secure and content in Thy love. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Jesus is worthy, and His leaves are for healing. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we join you in prayer to our merciful God for your healing and rest.

We ask the Lord who made our bodies and knows our frame to take away the swelling and pain from your knee and from your hips, to calm the inflammation in your body, and to heal the trouble of gastritis that afflicts you. We pray that He will grant you relief from all unease and pain, so that your body may be strengthened and refreshed for His service.

We also pray that God will grant you peaceful and deep sleep. As Scripture teaches, sleep is a gift bound into our nature by His care, a haven and a medicine for our weariness. We ask Him to guard you through the night and to allow you to catch up on the rest you need, waking renewed in body and soul.

At the same time we pray that while your body rests, your soul may remain watchful and sober before Him, steadfast and unmoved, keeping close to Christ who neither slumbers nor sleeps but keeps His people continually. May He who alone is our healer grant you wholeness, comfort your heart, and fill you with peace through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name we pray.

We are joining with you in prayer for these needs and bringing them before the Lord.

We have asked God to touch your knee that there would be no swelling, unease or pain, to touch your hips that pain would be lifted, to bring relief from gastritis and to remove pain, swelling and inflammation from every part of your body. We have also prayed that He would grant you deep and restorative sleep and help you to catch up on the rest you need.

Scripture tells us that Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our infirmities, as prophesied in Isaiah and confirmed in Matthew, and His ministry showed His authority over every kind of infirmity and sickness. He healed the leper with a touch, He healed from a distance with a word, He healed Peter's mother in law and multitudes who were brought to Him. That same power belongs to Him still, and we can come to Him with confidence for healing.

We do not always understand how healing comes. At times the Lord heals instantly and it can be felt in the moment, at other times healing is gradual, the only gradual healing recorded in the Gospels reminds us that God is not limited to one pattern. Much healing comes through the natural processes God Himself placed in our bodies, and that is no less divine, for He created those processes. Like seed that grows quietly, first the blade, then the stalk, then the full head of grain, His work can be unfolding even when we cannot yet see it. We trust His wisdom and His love to work in the way He knows is best, whether quickly or step by step.

We also prayed for your sleep. The Lord knows how pain and inflammation can keep us awake, and how exhaustion wears us down. He gives sleep as a gift to restore us, and His word is described as a lamp and a light that keeps us when we sleep and speaks to us when we awake. May He quiet your body, calm any discomfort in your stomach and joints, and grant you peaceful, uninterrupted rest that restores strength.

We will continue to pray that you will know His healing touch, His comfort, and His peace, and that you will experience His presence as you wait on Him. May the Lord strengthen your body, ease every inflammation, and fill your nights with rest and your days with renewed health through Jesus Christ. Amen.
