No pain, swelling, inflammation - ellbow, knee
We join you in bringing your body before the Lord and asking for His healing touch upon you, especially for your left knee, left elbow, and your dental flesh and teeth, and for freedom from all pain, swelling, inflammation and irritation anywhere in your body.
We know that our bodies are precious to God and He cares about our suffering. He reveals Himself as the One who heals us, as it is written in Exodus 15:26 that He is the Lord who heals you, and in Psalm 103:2-3 to praise the Lord and not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, and in Psalm 147:3 that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We remember that by His wounds we have been healed as spoken in 1 Peter 2:24 and Isaiah 53:5.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And it is written in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we must believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him with our mouth as taught in Romans 10:9. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your mercy and healing power to rest upon their body. We ask that You would remove all pain, swelling, inflammation and irritation, and bring complete ease and wholeness. We place Your hand especially upon the left knee and left elbow, upon every joint and tissue, and upon the gums and teeth and all dental flesh. Command all inflammation to leave and let Your peace and restoration flow. We ask that You would touch what is irritated and cause it to be calm and healed. We pray for wisdom for any doctors or dentists who may provide care, and we ask that You would guide them. We pray that this healing would be for Your glory and that Your will be done in this body which is a temple of Your Holy Spirit as taught in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Strengthen faith and grant patience and comfort while waiting upon You. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord with your health and to seek Him daily. Rest in His care, care for your body with wisdom, seek appropriate medical and dental attention as needed, and keep praying in the name of Jesus with thanksgiving. Your request concerning pain and swelling, and the inflammation and irritation that trouble your left knee, your left elbow and the flesh of your teeth and gums, has been brought before the Lord with sincere prayer.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are painful and press us to seek relief, and we are right to bring such afflictions to the great Physician. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves are full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation to change the life blood and to make the nature whole.
We are reminded also that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the man sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when the Lord comes and dwells with His people they have no need to say, I am sick. His salvation will at last perfectly heal our bodies, and even now His grace infuses a healing virtue which works health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.
We therefore pray for you that the Lord in His mercy would be pleased to remove all pain, swelling, unease, inflammation and irritation from your body, and especially from the left knee and left elbow and from your teeth and gums. We ask that He would cool what is inflamed, calm what is irritated, and give rest to what is uneasy, according to His wise and loving will. We pray also that you would be helped to use all lawful means with thankfulness, as we would seek a physician for the body, while looking above all to Christ who alone can heal both soul and body.
Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. If you have not already done so, look to Him for the healing of the soul first, for the forgiveness of sins through His blood shed at Calvary, where the true healing balm is found. It is there that the wounded heart is bound up, for He heals the broken in heart, and where sin is pardoned, healing begins.
May the Lord grant you faith to rest in Christ, patience under trial, and in His good time, relief and restoration to your body.
