We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father sees your pain—both the physical affliction in your stomach and the deep emotional wounds from injustice and family strife. The Word of God tells us, *"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are not forgotten, and your suffering does not go unnoticed by the One who numbers the hairs on your head.
First, we must address the physical pain you are enduring. Occasional yet severe stomach pain should not be ignored, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom to seek godly medical counsel and that He would bring healing to your body. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2 WEB). May the Great Physician touch you and bring relief, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Now, we turn to the deeper ache in your heart—the favoritism, mistreatment, and fear over inheritance. The Lord sees the injustice you have endured, and He hates partiality (James 2:9). Your brother’s lack of transparency and stalling tactics are not hidden from God, who will judge righteously. *"For the LORD loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off"* (Psalm 37:28 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of division and deception in your family in the name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10).
You declare that as a child of the King, no one should mistreat you—and this is true! But we must also remember that our inheritance in Christ is eternal and far greater than any earthly possession. *"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you"* (1 Peter 1:3-4 WEB). While we trust God to provide for your needs, we must guard our hearts against bitterness, for it will only harm you further. *"Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled"* (Hebrews 12:14-15 WEB).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel in this matter, perhaps from a trusted pastor or Christian mediator, to help navigate the legal and relational complexities. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Without counsel, plans go awry, but in the multitude of counselors they are established."* Do not let your brother’s actions drive you to despair, for the Lord is your defender.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts on behalf of our sister. Lord, You see her pain—both the physical discomfort in her stomach and the deep hurt from family strife. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, that she may experience Your peace and restoration. Father, we also lift up the injustice she has faced. You are a God of justice, and we trust You to intervene in this situation. Expose any deception, bring clarity to the inheritance matters, and soften her brother’s heart toward righteousness.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of division and bitterness that seeks to take root in her heart. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind her that her true inheritance is in You, and that no earthly possession can compare to the riches of Your grace. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven her, and to walk in love, even when it is difficult.
Father, we declare that she is Your beloved child, a daughter of the King, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her trust in You alone. Provide for her needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. In all things, may Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified.
We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the One who has overcome the world. Amen.
