Pain From A Dental Visit

Please pray for me, as I had a root canal that did not go well and have already been back to see the dentist once since then (less than 48 hours). I have a previous injury to my jaw, and am used to pain in and around my mouth. I have been told I have a high threshold for pain, and the pain is almost unbearable right now! Please pray that the Lord will lay His healing hands on me and lessen (or remove) this pain from me. Please pray that all goes well with the rest of the dental visit, that the weak tooth holds out until it is finished being fixed and that no more of the temporary filling falls out. Thank you all so much!

Dear Lord, please take ### in your arms as one would a baby ewe and just whisper words of comfort. Please grant this lady her request for healing so that the pain will subside soon and ultimately disappear before the dawn breaks. May the rest of the procedure go extremely well. Guide the dentist's hands and mind. Station your angels around her so that the devil doesn't even have a chance to get a wicked word in edge-wise and cause any further dismay. In Jesus precious name. Amen.

A Prayer for Help[a]

I call to the Lord for help;

I plead with him.

2 I bring him all my complaints;

I tell him all my troubles.

3 When I am ready to give up,

he knows what I should do.

In the path where I walk,

my enemies have hidden a trap for me.

4 When I look beside me,

I see that there is no one to help me,

no one to protect me.

No one cares for me.

5 Lord, I cry to you for help;

you, Lord, are my protector;

you are all I want in this life.

6 Listen to my cry for help,

for I am sunk in despair.

Save me from my enemies;

they are too strong for me.

because of your goodness to me.

 

Lord God Almighty freedom from pain through stripes are we healed. Lord take away all and return us into ease with the comfort of your miracles in Jesus name. Amen.
