Pain for no reason

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We have heard your request about the pain on your left side and that you do not know where it is coming from, and we have brought you before the Lord in prayer.

It is especially difficult to suffer when there is no clear reason, to feel pain and also feel perplexed about its source. Scripture speaks to this condition when it says we are pressed on every side, yet not straitened, perplexed, yet not unto despair, pursued, yet not forsaken. Even when we do not understand what is happening in our bodies, we are not forsaken and we are not without hope.

Know that Christ understands our weakness and our pain. Being God He became man for us and underwent all things for our healing and salvation, leaving undone nothing that was needed for our care. He is near to you in this discomfort and He invites you to cast your cares upon Him, trusting not only for relief but for the eternal hope that is to come, for we are saved by hope.

We prayed that God would have compassion on you, ease this pain, give you peace while you wait for answers, and guide you to clear understanding of what is wrong. We also urge you, as a matter of care for the body God has given you, to seek medical attention promptly. Please see a doctor or urgent care provider soon, describe where and how the pain feels and how long it has lasted, and follow their counsel. If the pain worsens, becomes severe, or you have other concerning symptoms, please seek help without delay.

We will continue to pray for you. May the Lord grant you relief, wisdom for those who care for you, and a settled trust in His presence and power to sustain you. Your pain and the uncertainty about where it is coming from has been lifted before the Lord, and I am praying for you.

It is distressing to hurt without knowing the cause, especially when the pain is on one side and you cannot trace it to any injury or clear reason. God sees what you cannot see and He cares about this affliction. Scripture tells us that Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our infirmities, fulfilling what was spoken through Isaiah, and Matthew applies that directly to His healing ministry. He has power over sickness in the body, just as He has power in every other realm, and He is moved with compassion toward those who suffer.

I want to encourage you with something Scripture shows us about how healing often comes. In one account Jesus healed a blind man in stages. At first the man saw men as trees walking, and then Jesus touched him again and his sight was made clear. That reminds us that healing does not always come all at once. Often it is gradual. God has also built wonderful processes for healing into our bodies. The natural recovery that happens through the body's own systems is no less from God than a sudden touch, because He is the one who created nature and ordered those processes. All healing, whether it comes slowly or quickly, through medical care or through prayer, is divine healing because it comes from His hand.

At the same time, God remains sovereign over healing and gives it according to His will. We cannot command Him by a formula or a technique. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed, and the Lord chose not to take it away but to give grace to endure it. That teaches us not to presume that God must heal in every case in the way or timing we expect, while still believing strongly that He does heal and that we should keep bringing our needs to Him with faith.

So I encourage you to keep seeking the Lord in prayer, asking for His mercy, wisdom, and healing, and also to seek wise medical care to help discover the cause of this pain on your left side. God often works through the insight He gives to doctors as part of His provision for us.

I pray now that the Lord will touch your body, ease this pain, reveal its cause if it needs attention, and give you peace as you trust Him. May He guide those who can help you, restore you in the way that serves His good purpose for your life, and comfort your heart with the assurance that He bears your infirmities and is present with you in this trial.
