Attack me sweating for no reason

Godispowerful

Humble Servant
I don't like to get attacked to start sweating over my head and face because I don't know where it comes from.

We hear your distress about these sudden attacks of sweating over your head and face and not knowing where they come from, and we bring this burden before the Lord together with you.

We know how unsettling it is when our body reacts in ways we cannot understand or control, and it can bring fear and anxiety. We want to remind you that God sees what is happening even when we do not understand it, and He cares for every part of you, body, mind and spirit. We also want to encourage you to seek wise medical counsel if this continues, for God often brings healing and understanding through physicians, and we should steward the bodies He has given us.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and find salvation and peace. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name, for Romans 10:9 says, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

The sudden fear and physical reaction you describe can have both physical and spiritual roots, and we want to pray against any attack of the enemy while also asking for God's peace and healing. Scripture reminds us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And in Philippians 4:6-7 we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You know the source of this sweating and the distress it causes, even when we do not. We ask You to rebuke any spiritual attack or oppression that may be coming against them, for Your Word says in Ephesians 6:12 that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness. We ask for Your protection and covering. Lord, we also ask for Your healing touch upon their body, calm their nervous system, regulate their body, and bring clarity. Reveal any physical cause and guide them to the right help if needed. We cast all worry upon You because You care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding, and let them know as Psalm 34:4 promises, I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Help them to rest in You and to trust in the name of Jesus alone for salvation, healing and deliverance. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord in prayer, speaking the name of Jesus over your body and mind when these episodes come, and to rest in His promise that He is with you and will strengthen you. We are continuing to pray for your peace, health, and freedom from these attacks.

We can understand why this would leave you feeling on edge. Sweating that comes out of nowhere, especially over your head and face, can feel confusing and vulnerable, and not knowing the trigger makes it harder to feel at ease.

What you describe is something many people experience when the body's alarm system gets activated. Even without a clear reason you can see, stress and anxiety can show up in very physical ways, and sweating is one of those common physical responses. That does not make it any less distressing, and it makes sense you would want answers and relief.

Alongside prayer, we encourage you to reach out to a medical professional who can listen well and help sort through what might be happening. If you have not already, consider seeing your primary care doctor and letting them know when the sweating happens, how often, and what else you notice at the time. Bringing a few notes can help them understand and guide next steps for care.

We are praying for you and we will keep holding you before the Lord. You are not alone in this, and God sees both the physical discomfort and the worry it brings.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift them to You. Bring Your calm presence, ease the fear of not understanding what is happening, and give wisdom to any doctors and helpers involved. Lead toward answers, steady rest and peace in Your care. Amen.

We have heard your cry concerning this sudden trouble which comes upon you, this sweating of the head and face for no reason that you can perceive, and the fear that attends it when you do not know where it comes from.

There is a word which the Lord speaks very plentifully to such as you are, and it is this, Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. It is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden, Fear not, I will help thee, Fear not, thou worm Jacob. When fear arises as an arrow shot at you in the dark, it is weakening to the soul and it unfits you to meet the difficulty. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a trial unfits you to meet that trial. Therefore we charge you as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ to let your faith overcome your fear, casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you.

You say you know not where it comes from, and that perplexity increases the sorrow. Remember Jacob at the brook Jabbok, full of fear and trembling, who said Lord give deliverance, and found that God met him there. If you forsake the throne of grace then you may fear you are forsaken, but when the Spirit draws you to the mercy seat such a fear must vanish, for if thou art at the mercy seat God is there too. God loves the mercy seat better than thou dost. Go and spread this grief before Him who shuts not His ear. Tell Him all, for if you tell it only to yourself no good will come of it.

We would have you know also that there is healing in Christ. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, His most gentle touches, change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When Jesus healed the sick He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, so that pardon and healing were one. As need is banished and infirmity is shut out in His presence, so anxiety and doubt and fear and dread are made to flee away. He is able to keep that which you have committed unto Him, and to deliver you from going down to the pit, for He has found a ransom.

Let us pray for you. O Lord our God, look upon this afflicted one who is attacked with sudden sweating and fear. Thou knowest the body and the spirit, Thou knowest what is hidden from our eyes. Lay Thy healing hand upon this servant, quiet the flesh, calm the troubled thoughts, and let perfect love cast out fear. Bring deliverance by Thine own outstretched arm, as Thou didst bring forth Israel when the lamb was slain. Help this dear soul to sit no longer disturbed by enemies, but to sit by the well's brink and be refreshed, hidden with Christ and free from fear because all interests are secure in Him. Give wisdom also to seek such lawful help as the body may need, and give physicians skill if it be Thy will to use means, but let the chief trust be in Thee. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Play the man and fear not them which can touch the body only, but fear Him who is Lord of all, and rest in His promised strength. He will help thee, saith the Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest prayer has been heard and we are grateful you shared it. To be overcome with sudden sweating on your head and face without knowing why is distressing, and it is understandable that you do not like the feeling of being attacked in this way and left without an answer.

Scripture reminds us that God is everywhere present and sees all that concerns us, not to watch us with suspicion but to care for us with love. He invites us to bring our anxieties to Him and to work out our lives with reverence and trust, knowing that it is God who works in us and gives us strength. Many of the troubles that unsettle the body also unsettle the heart, bringing fear and restlessness, but the Lord desires to free us from needless anxiety and to give us peace as we trust Him day by day. Learning quiet trust at home in small things helps us to stand with more calm when sudden trials come upon us elsewhere.

We will pray for you, and we also encourage you to seek wise counsel for your body as well as your soul. If these episodes continue, it is good to speak with a trusted medical provider who can listen, ask careful questions, and help discern whether there is a physical cause that needs attention. It can help to note when the sweating happens, what you were doing, and how you were feeling, so you can share a clear picture with those who care for you. At the same time, keep bringing this burden to the Lord in simple prayer, asking for His peace to guard your heart, for wisdom for any who help you, and for relief from fear.

Let us pray. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your mercy and help. You know the sudden heat and sweating that comes without warning and the worry that follows. We ask You to grant calm, to quiet fear, and to give understanding of what is happening. Give wisdom to doctors and to all who may offer help, and give patience and hope while answers are sought. Help this one to rest in Your presence, to know that You are near in every moment, and to trust that You will work for good. Strengthen faith, grant peace of mind and body, and lead toward healing according to Your gracious will. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for sharing honestly what you have been experiencing. It is unsettling when your body suddenly reacts like this, with sweating on your head and face that comes without a clear reason, and it is understandable that the uncertainty itself brings distress and fear.

Scripture shows that fear often grows when we forget the Lord and His nearness, and remembering Him is the cure for fear. David said though I walk through the valley of death I will fear no evil for you are with me. When fear is allowed to take over, faith is pushed aside, and when faith and confidence in God are strong, fear loses its hold. The two cannot rule the heart at the same time. The enemy often tries to use fear to stir us and to push us into hasty or wrong reactions, so it is important not to be driven by that sudden fear.

The Bible also speaks of another kind of fear, the fear of the Lord, which is not panic or dread but a reverent awe of who God is, His greatness, power and love toward you. That reverent fear is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. It puts everything else in perspective and teaches us to love what God loves and turn from what is harmful. When you live with that confidence in God, you do not need to fear sudden trouble or the unknown, for the Lord Himself will be your confidence and keep you steady. He has not despised the affliction of the afflicted, and when His children cry to Him, He hears.

It is wise and prudent to care for your body, and if this sweating continues it is reasonable to seek medical counsel to rule out any physical cause, but do so not from panic, but from quiet trust that God can protect and guide you wherever you are. Whether on your feet at work or at rest at home, His presence goes with you.

I pray for you now that the Lord will quiet your heart and fill you with faith instead of fear. May He remind you continually that He is your light and your salvation, the strength of your life, so you need not be afraid. May He give you peace in the moments when this sweating comes, wisdom to know any practical steps to take, and a deep awareness that He is with you and hears your cry. In the name of Jesus, may you know His comfort, His healing touch according to His will, and His keeping power over your body and mind.
